BD is looking for Designers!

Things to know:

♥ You MUST have access to Sai or Adobe Photoshop. My suggestion to everyone is to use Sai if at all possible, they just look better with layers in Sai. However, I tweaked the layers to be as similar as possible in PSD because I know some of you don't have access to a different program.

♥ You must be active on CS, have more than 300 posts and you must have been a member for at least a year. I'm VERY serious about being an active designer, I won't appreciate entrusting my files to artists I don't particularly know and then have them not used... it makes me question why you applied in the first place.

♥ You will be able to accept CS pets in exchange for your designs, I do ask that you come up with a key to give them an idea of how you value the pets you accept in terms of CA. You can either start a banking system or ask to be paid when you post a pet for adoption.

♥ Our adopters appreciate both realistic and abstract designs. They also expect to be able to apply for customs on occasion. Please familiarize yourself with BD's main page if you're not familiar with us already.

♥ I will choose at least 3 full time designers and may start some out as guest artists. Prizes Listed Below

I'm sorry to bother you, however I have 3 questions I would like to know^^;

1) I have corel painter 12 (...It's kinda like Sai and Photoshop mixed into one) It lets me open PSD and RIF (though not SAI) files with their appropriate layers, so would that be ok?^^

2) Approximately when will be the deadline of this contest?

3) Would it be all right to place the entries and form onto another thread on CS and then link it to you on a post of this thread?

I'm going to give it a little bit before I try to narrow down a deadline, probably at least a month, but I would like to allow enough time for entrants to not feel pressured into a rushed decision (since I'd like designers who will stay with BD for a while). n__n

I wonder if corel would handle highlight and shadow layers the way that sai and photoshop do, I don't have it anymore but I will see if my father still does and have him open it to see how it looks. Feel free to go ahead and enter because if it opens the layers correctly that's half the problem anyways!

Instead of having to create a whole new thread, if you want to post your entries as [img] instead of [url] in your application on this thread you're more than welcome to, I'm just very visual and like to see them together instead of having to click on one link at a time.

Thank you^^ I think a month or two would be best, indeed, a rushed decision is never good.

And I believe that it can handle the highlights the same as Sai since it has all of the "screen"; "multiply"; "overlay" and all of those methods within it as well. (The layers go the opposite way though, the highest is the "top covering" layer unlike the Sai's bottom is the "top" layer. ...if that makes any sense @w@;)

And I didn't mean to say that I'll be linking every image XD I meant that I will create another thread that will have all of my entries in it in order and sorted into neat images as to not spam on here with any image-heavy posts.(I'm quite a visual person as well) so I might make it all pretty and such >w<;

♥ Do you have a dA account?: My Furaffinity is more active, though I can update my old dA if necessary.
♥ Do you work/design for any other site or adoptable species?: I just started flower crown cats the other day, and I joined American pitbull terriers today.
♥ Have you ever stolen art or designs? (be honest): Nope.
♥ What are your favorite BD species?: Purr bears. <3 I want to hug them.
♥ Why do you want to work for BD?:I love designing characters! I've never been active on the art side of CS, and a few days ago I discovered it, and I would be so happy to get involved with more species. Designing characters has always been one of my favorite parts of making art, and I'd love to share my designs with people!
♥ Will you honestly have time to devote to our adoptables or foresee any issues arising in the near future?: Yep.
♥ About how many pets will you be able to release a month?: As many as needed! I'm online every day, so as long as I've got the muse to go at it, I can do however many.
