Gah I hate it when that happens. xP Although for me it's when I'm writhing from muse overload, I have a pencil and a notebook in hand, I'm poised to write, and people keep talking to me.

Yeah it usually happens when I'm in my own little world though.

A quick question for you guys; Is it difficult for you to come up with names for characters?
I always have such a hard time because I know a lot of people, and do my best not to use their names... :|

I'm back, and better than before! (Or at least, I do hope so) Feel free to ask me questions, commissions are closed, and I'm really sorry to the few of you who requested them before I left. (Meaning the ones I never finished. Seriously, that was horrible of me. Sorry.)

{ Um hi! I haven't posted in a while, I've just been silently watching.
I generally don't have a problem coming up with names; I just have hundreds laying around. If i do happen to use the name of my friend or someone I know in a book/story/ect. It generally doesn't matter because of just how commen the names are. When they do tend to find out (they read it or I tell them) they're pretty cool about it.

oh look who it is

Postby glassea » Mon Jan 06, 2014 6:27 am

hey-o guys. i really never frequent the thread but it says on the front i'm a member, so... i get to post. muahaha.
anyways i'm not really sure what this is. It just kind of... came after I read this and is very much inspired by it, especially towards the beginning. i'm looking for critique on the following; it's not at all long, nor do i have any intention of making it longer, it's just something for fun, i'm just looking to improve my writing overall.
without further ado, here is my utterly horrific thing-a-ma-bober:

She is not the kind of person you touch. She is the person that you look at but do not approach, the crown jewel in her glass case, drawing the attention of all but not a single person would dare to meet her eyes. She is invincible. Everything about her is stronger, more powerful, more alive than anything you could hope to be. People look at a mountain range and at the highest peak, they see aloof beauty, a snow-dappled apex that it seems no one has ever reached.

But everything falls eventually. The Earth itself shifts underneath our feet. Even Everest has been climbed, tamed, mastered. No beautiful thing can last forever.

No matter how strong she seems, she will fall. You will watch, and see her tumble down, a shooting star in her own right plummeting to earth where she can no longer fly. And then, when she lies there, face-up, blank eyes meeting the sky where she once hung… maybe then you could know her.

i'd love you forever if i could get a bit of critique c: thanks so much guys.
