I personally say May-ko-at-uls (with the long a sound)
So I mostly just sound it out...

What is your makos star sign? Do they reflect it very well?
I usually make birthdays based on when they were either designed or judged.
In this case, Soven's is December 31st and he is a capricorn. C:

That's no problem, since Capricorns are both ambitious and determined: they will get there. Life is one big project for these folks, and they adapt to this by adopting a businesslike approach to most everything they do.

Does it matter what the mako looks like or do you just want a mako?
Yes, it does matter. The mako needs to be something I love, the appearance needs to speak to me to help me create a character. And it's not just about the appearance, but I'm not in a rush to just try for any mako.

How hard have you tried for a mako and lost?
I am pouring my heart and soul into one now but the competition has yet to end. The only mako I've lost is an event one and I didn't try hard for that one.

if someone gifted you a mako that you didn't particularly like, what would you do?
I'd politely turn it down, I'd struggle to turn it down actually. I hate saying no to people and hurting their feelings. But if I kept a mako I didn't love or connect with, it would be pushed to a lonely corner. I wouldn't want a mako to rot because of me.

How hard have you tried for a mako and lost?
I tried pretty hard for #13, but I think I really could have tried harder..
I did get the Runner Up for that though, so I don't know if that counts as having lost x3

Politely decline, and maybe try to help them to find someone else that would love it more.
