Does it matter what the mako looks like or do you just want a mako?
Well, I really want a Mako but for me to find that I have a good form I need to like the design of the Mako and relate to it to have a better chance of winning it.
if someone gifted you a mako that you didn't particularly like, what would you do?
I would still keep it and love it even more then the previous owner that gifted me the Mako. For me any Mako that I get is special and needs love and attention.

I haven't really tried for so...

I would try tp like and get a basic idea around. If that failed, I'd gift them to someone who does like it or UFA.

I've only tried out for two makos and they were really quick contests so I haven't really tried hard for them.
But I know what its like to loose a dream character though, trust me. ; w ;

I would say thank you and take it because I don't have the guts to tell them that I don't like it ;;
Even if I didn't like i'd still make art and stuff for it because it was gifted to me and the person was so nice to do so ; w ;

definitely what it looks like. I need to have a mako with an appearance I can connect with and make a character from.

I've tried out for one quick contest form and am currently trying out for another two very quick makos. I haven't had the opportunity to try hard out for a mako, so I can't say.

I'd politely thank them for offering, but say that I wouldn't be able to cherish him/her and that they were better off giving it to someone else.

It certainly matters what they look like. I usually put looks to a personality, and I'd at least like to enjoy look of my precious baby. ^^

At this point I just want a mako. TuT
I've tried for quite a few based on appearance, though there are very few designs I dislike if any at all.
Makos have yet to disappoint, and I think appearance counts, but at this point I'd be greatful for any mako at all.

I've tried for five or six now, getting some pretty in good characters set up for two.

1. There's not a mako made that I don't like. :U There are ones I'm not 100% adoration mode on but never dislike.
2. I'd probably add a good character, backstory and some nice accessories to spice it up.
3. In the end if there was another non-owner who absolutely loved the mako I would let them have it. <3
