Lizzie slipped out with Rory. Once they were in the car, she turned to him. "Do you feel a little better now that you've seen them?"

Rory nodded. "A lot. I just couldn't let them live in pain anymore when I knew that no one ever told."

Lizzie nodded and squeezed his hand gently. "Good. I'm glad that you got that off your chest. It probably felt really good to see them again."

Lizzie smiled. "I'm glad." She kissed his cheek again. "I just want you to be happy."

A smile tugged at the corners of Lizzie's lips. "As long as you're here, I will be," she replied honestly.
