Furaha and Kibwe were huddled in the savanna. Furaha was currently sleeping and Kibwe was keeping watch over his sister the best her could, his ears up and alert.

Cascade walked and walked until she reached the boarder of the territory. She laid down and yawned.

Kibwe heard a lion approaching and he roared as loud as he could to fend them off. It was a small roar that could be heard but was in no means powerful or intimidating. Her curled over his sister protectively.

[Tazaria]

Cascade heard the roar and galloped to the two cubs. She jumped on the one that roared and roared loudly back at it.

Kibwe's fur was blown back by the lioness's powerful roar that was ear-deafening. His sister jumped to her feet, rudely awakened from her sleep. Kibwe struggled to squirm away from Cascade, whimpering, his eyes wide and frightened. He gulped, his body beginning to shake in fright.

Furaha cried out in fear and flattened herself to the ground, her creamy-tinted, white pelt shook like a leaf.

Cascade grabbed the cub that was under her paws and walked off with him. She stopped and looked at the other cub Beckoning for it to follow.

Furaha cried as loud as she could for her brother and raced after Cascade, begging, "Let him go, let him go, please! He didn't any harm, I'm sorry! We won't bother you, we'll run!" She wailed.

Kibwe fell silent as the skin around his neck went tight as she picked him up, and he curled his tail between him legs. He muffled sobs as he watched his sister beg for him What have I done...? He thought, just wishing for his sister to be safe.

[Tazaria]

Cascade placed down the cub in her mouth and placed her paw on his tail so he couldn't run. " I'm not going to kill you or your brother" Cascade said to the female cub, " there was just some hyenas eyeing you up for lunch"
Cascade rolls her eyes " you would've been killed" cascade paused " you can easily die out there without a pride"

Furaha sniffled, "So...you're not gonna kill us?"

As soon as Kibwe was set down, he protested, "We could have protected ourselves!"

[Tazaria]

Cascade nodded to a whole pack of hyenas who could have killed the cubs, " I wouldn't kill a cub" cascade said to the female cub, she looks down to the male cub, " a full grown lion would not survive there attack they would have to retreat"

[Dawnsummer]

Kibwe hung his head, knowing she was right. His heart thudded against his chest painfully as he dared to ask, "But...now what will you do with us? If you take us you your pride, your alpha will kill me, and maybe Furaha too." He flattened is ears at the prospect, just assuming she was in a pride.
