Great idea! I've always wanted to write something about my OCs, but I've never had any good ideas.

Moon Jelly earned her cutie mark one spring day when her school took a field trip to the Baltimare Aquarium. Everyone oohed and aahed at the sharks, ogled at the otters, and admired the clownfish. The dolphins were the favorite of many, and for others it was the sea turtles.
When one of the aquarium ponies asked the class if they would like to come up on the feeding platform to see the fish and other creatures fed, everypony jumped at the chance. Moon Jelly was beside herself with giddiness! Back they went through a door marked "feeding deck", then up, up, up a flight of metal stairs. The floor was made of criss-crossed metal, and beneath them everypony could see a variety of tanks.
As the group continued to walk, following the employee, Moon Jelly stayed back above the tank filled with clownfish and anemones. She poked her head through the railing, but she could still barely see the fish underneath the rippling water. Squeezing her forelegs through the fence as well,s he leaned as far down as she could.
Her hind legs slipped, and in she fell, face-first into the tank of stinging anemones. she shrieked, causing her to inhale a gasp of water as her face went under. She kicked her short legs, trying to swim back up, but before they could make any progress her nose touched the tendrils of a single, peach-coloured anemone. It felt like it tried to cling to her nose, stinging her just as somepony pulled her out of the water.
"Are you alright?" the teal pony asked her. Her entire class was gathered around, all checking that she hadn't gotten eaten by the fishies.
"Y-yes," coughed Moon Jelly, dispelling a bit of water from her mouth. Her nose had a small, pink bump on it from her one sting. She touched the bump tentatively with her hoof, drawing it back as soon as she did. It may not have been hurting too badly, but it sure didn't feel good to touch.
Her teacher sighed in relief, and the pony that had pulled her out tried to usher her down the stairs.
"Why don't you go on down here for now? You can go see someone about that sting, if you want."
"But isn't everypony going to feed the jellyfish in a second?" she protested, her eyes big and pleading.
"Yes, but the jellyfish can sting even worse than the sea anemones. Doesn't your nose hurt?"
Moon Jelly thought for a moment. "Can I feed them anyway? I'm not scared."
The mare was still for a moment, before giving Moon Jelly a small smile. "Alright, just because you're such a brave little filly. Make sure you don't fall in!"
Moon Jelly gave a great big grin back, and as she ran toward the bucket of shrimp for the jellyfish that her class was crowding around, she didn't even notice the flash of the image appearing on her flank.
