Is this fair? I know these dogs (the one on their side) were able to be adopted for a long time, so I'm not sure ^^ Is the painted wolf enough, or do I have to have the orange dog too?

With the year difference the orange dog is at least necessary. The 2nd gen is much rarer based on the large date gap. I feel (I would get a second opinion too) that it is slightly unfair to the 2nd gen because of the date differences.
