She paused "I saw you playing with Rainkit, Cagelights girl, Before Morningsound arrived, She was very happy to play with you and you seemed happy to" She purred, it was very cute seeing them play together "As for me a mother, well, I need a tom for that first and he just hasn't found me yet, who knowns maybe I should stop waiting and start looking he might be stuck in a tree some where ." She said joked with a bit of a smile.

ˢᵗᵒʳᵐᶜˡᵒᵘᵈ gave an amused purr. "I don't think you want a mate that can't get out of a tree, but that's your choice." He shook a paw, feeling it fall asleep from lack of movement. Where were Whitestar and Morningsound? The Clan only had one border! Deciding not to be so impatient, Stormcloud focused on listening for intruders. It was nice to have his sister beside him to help. They hadn't been able to talk in a while, what with hunting and his deputy role. It reminded him of being a young warrior, before he was elected deputy. Back then they hung out all the time.

Larkstar called over to Wolfkit. "Hello," she said, padding over to the tom. "Are you excited to be an apprentice?" The kit was six moons old now, which meant he was ready for a mentor, and to start his training. She'd given some thought to which cat would mentor him, and was very pleased about her decision.

Morningsound relaxed her shoulders a bit after Whitestar spoke. Before she replied, she tilted her head and just stared at the tom. She just couldn't figure out why she wasn't cowering away in fear or having the most angry, unforgiving, merciless thoughts about him. Maybe it was the new, strong, wise scent that overpowered and masked the old familiar scent of 'Jet'. Maybe her emotions gave way and just broke so she couldn't feel anything anymore. "...It's alright, Jet." There was a surprising sympathetic feeling that warmed throughout her ask she replied to Whitestar.
I guess this is what forgiveness feels like.

Wolfkit glanced up and saw his leader standing before him. While she spoke he made a little happy sound. Larkstar had come to speak to him about his apprenticeship! "Yes, Larkstar! I'm going to train as hard as I can to be one of the greatest Warriors of our clan! I'm going to make Father and the rest of the clan proud someday!" The young tom let his excitement burst.

They hadn't been able to talk in a while, what with hunting and his deputy role. It reminded him of being a young warrior, before he was elected deputy. Back then they hung out all the time.

Larkstar purred. "I'm sure you'll be an excellent warrior someday. Get ready, because your ceremony is at sunhigh." She purred and touched her nose to the tom's head. It was nice to see such eager cats. With a killer in the clan, she wanted as many strong warriors as she could train.

Wolfkit almost fell over with all his excitement. " Sunhigh?!" He was going to become a warrior soon! He would get to go to gatherings, sleep in a new den and hunt for the clan. Wolfkit silently vowed that he would train his hardest and do his best. This was a big, new point in his young life, and he was ready to make it worth it. Through all this, he wondered where his father, Icetooth was.

As if on cue, Icetooth walked into camp with fresh-kill gripped firmly in his jaws. As soon as he dropped the fresh-kill off, he went out to go find his son, Wolfkit. Before him, he saw his leader and kit speaking to each other and he let out an amused pur. The night before, Larkstar had spoken to him about Wolfkit, and that it was about time for him to become an apprentice. Icetooth was pleased that his kit was growing into a strong, healthy apprentice. He was overjoyed that Wolfkit could be so happy even after the accident. He was so glad that things have been pulling together, and his clan helped them through so much.

Whitestar sighed lowering his head. "I don't deserve your forgiveness but I take it eagerly and thankfully." he said now smiling. He felt like a new cat. Like all the bad he's done just been forgotten, it hasn't its been forgiven. Whitestar would never tell anyone that his temper still stays but it hasn't came out in a very long time. "Well, the clan would be suspicious if I just came back so we misewell check the borders." he said with a smile. Most of his cats he tried to sound serious and wise but failed miserably. Secretly Whitestar was still a warrior wanting friends. He was fit for the job but he didn't want to be so serious. Around her he forgot about theat. Mostly because she didn't know how a leader should act so he started out, normal?

Poppyfrost pushed past Volepaw, barely registering anything he said. "Lilypond, what is it? Why are you here?" In response, the silver cat opened her mouth slowly and whispered, as if in a trance:

As the last line was murmured, Lilypond began to fade. "No, please! What does it mean? Don't go, I can't understand!" Poppyfrost begged, throwing herself to the empty space where the cat had stood only a moment earlier.

Larkstar waited a little while. When the sun was centered in the sky, she jumped onto a tree stump by the camp entrance. "All DawnClan cats please gather!" She waited for all of the warriors, queens, and apprentices were sitting below her. Once this was done, she called, "Wolfkit, please come forward."
