Charles Marius Holloway the Third
~~{Prince of Wetherby || Male || Nineteen || Paired with Venus}~~
Charles stayed in his limo parked outside the building where to ball was being held. He was manage to watch some of the ladies head in, wearing fancy masks and elegant gowns. He, of course, had gone a more simple route. A dark grey suit with a white shirt and a dark blue tie. His mask was just a simple dark blue one. Yes, he could have gone inside, but he was waiting for his friends. Better to go into this situation with guys you've known forever, right? He looked down at his watch, the time saying 8:10. "Oh, great. Of course they'd be late to something like this." He said aloud with a sigh. He pour himself a little champaign to calm himself down. Them, he waited for his friends to show.

All Bridget knew was that she was thankful she'd been walking in high heels since she was eleven. Having learned that there would be no car escorting her, she had to walk up and down hill in six inch heels that cost a small fortune. "Thank go there was no mud..." She thought, double checking her shoes for dirt and grime before she crossed the street. "The last thing I need is to have to wear heels that aren't presentable to a ball where I'm trying to impress the princes."
With her outfit in check, the Irish maiden put on her usual haughty, slightly condescending face and glanced to her left and right before crossing the street. People were already starting to come in, and she could tell they were struck with awe at the sight of the foyer. Obviously she had lived in much better, and didn't give it a second thought. While the new arrivals were swooning over the scenery, Bridget wove her way through the small crowd with grace and tact, heading into the main room where the ball would be held. Regal, poised strides brought her to an empty spot where she could be clearly visible. "Now all I need is a drink..."

♖ Zach Alex Parker ♖
name; zach alex parker. | age; eighteen. | crush; none. | mood; content. | paired with; bridget saoirse o'brien. | tagged; james edward hunt.

- zach had pulled on his dress shoes. they were the dressiest pair of shoes he brought with him that is to say. he pulled them on hie feet then ran his fingers through his hair. he grabbed his phone shoving it into his pocket he left his room going down the staircases and to the main foyer. he went outside and into the limo. while he was on his way to the ball he was thinking about the gals that might be there. he knew the whole ballroom thing and how the gals were going to try and impress the guys. well lets say he wasn't one to get impressed very easily. he pulled out his phone hearing it buzz. it was from james ' on my way too. meet you in the ball room? ' he hit send replying to his friend. he for some odd reason always had to wait for the blue line to go all the way across the screen and make the little noise before hitting the top button locking the phone. that is what he did. once the phone was locked and the screen black he shoved his phone in his pocket. he looked out the window. he once arrived to the ballroom and got out of the lovely limo. he then headed up the stairs and inside to where the royal ball was being held. once he walked in he had to admit there were quite a few lovely ladies here but none that really caught his eyes. he then started walking the ball looking for his pal james.

♔ FELIX ◌ LOUIS ◌ ARDELL ♔
-----the journey passed quickly, and before felix knew it, they had arrived and he had downed two tall glasses of high quality champagne. the drinks and the proximity of the thrilling night caused the prince to feel light and revitalized, as if nothing could stop him. felix peered outside over bentley's shoulder as his friend exited the limo first, seeing glitter and shimmers galore. the girls sure knew how to dress up.
-----felix stepped out onto the marble and straightened up, then placed his classic white mask onto his face. it was pretty unadorned and covered felix's eyes and nose but left his dimpled mouth free. his lips sloped upward by genetics, however felix was almost always grinning anyways. his signature white teethed smile was now present on his face, and felix felt his friend throw his arm over his shoulder. "you know, i may just take your advice. the night is still young, so as you said, lets put our game faces on and have some fun..." felix threw his head back and let out a loud laugh. "thatta boy. looks like the bubbly was a good idea after all."
-----together, they entered the ballroom and felix gazed around, mesmerized. there were countless beautiful princesses prancing around, all in stunning (and probably very expensive) floor-length ball gowns. there were girls of many different races and ethnicities mingling with each other. there were brunettes with updos, blondes with braids, gingers with luscious curls, and black-haired girls with long locks flowing down their backs. it seemed as though the parents of the princes had truly chosen a wide variety of girls for the princes to pick and choose from, as if to ensure they would indeed find a girl. felix's eyes stretched wide behind his mask, and he wondered if it was even possible to speak to all of the girls in one night.
-----the prince heard bent comment about some girl's shoes, but felix just grunted in agreement and continued sweeping his gaze around the room. just as bentley mentioned the other boys, felix spotted charles, another one of their childhood friends, standing alone drinking champagne. "there's charlie over there," he said to bentley, pointing over in charles's direction. felix walked through the crowd and stopped in front of the prince of wetherby, clapping him on the back in greeting. "hey buddy, enjoying the ball?"

His eyes glazed over the wide variety of girls, skins of all colors, hair of all shades, and bodies of all different shapes and sizes. If you knew Bentley well enough you could surely see he was nearly salivating, though his exterior appeared calm and calculating. His azure gaze lingered on the girls for a moment more before following his friend Felix. He had heard him mumble something about spotting one of the guys, but he had been a bit distracted by the eye candy in the room.
Bentley spotted Charles before they reached him. He was looking up tight and as professional as ever, he couldn't help but notice. Charles wasn't necessarily anxious, but more on the reserved and edgy side, too much so for Bentley; he was known to give the kid a hard time about it. The prince chucked at his friend's remark about there being so many girls, implying that there were too many for him to deal with it seemed. Bentley clapped his friend on the shoulder, looking around the room at all the wonderful ladies awaiting their attention. "Don't let it get to you, the more the merrier I always say," he replied, flashing a bit of teeth in a cheeky smile. Turning his attention back to his friends, he took on a more tart tone, mentioning, "However, I'm sure we all know how I feel about the whole concept behind this shenanigan." He couldn't help but throw an eye roll in accompanied by a snort of disapproval. "Might as well just have fun with it, though. I'm sure we could wheel just about anyone in the room right now, even Felix here," he joked with a smug grin and a chuckle, poking fun at his friend lightheartedly.

henley alexia scotts
{ female ♕ ♕ 18 ♕ ♕ paired with - bentley layton ♕ ♕ crushing on - nobody ♕ ♕ tagged - bentley & felix & charles }
brushing some of the stray hairs out of her eyes, the brunette scanned the room once more before heading to the bar area. in the US she was not of the legal drinking age yet, not saying that had stopped her, but here she was of age, so she ordered a small glass of champagne after sitting on one of the stools. she was relatively secluded from the other people sitting around with drinks. henley was slightly surprised that the girls were not flocking the princes yet, she had expected hoards of girls to be vying for their attention. she turned back towards the counter as her drink was brought over. "Thanks," she said to the man who brought the drink to her. raising the champagne to her lips she reminded herself not to have nay more than three drinks. being somewhat rebellious, she could hold her own for a few drinks, but the last thing she needed tonight was to make a fool of herself by drinking too much. hearing the song change, she hummed along happily as she watched the people and sipped at her drink.
watching the girls was highly amusing to her, they all seemed so nervous to strike up conversation with any of the boys. finishing off the last sip of her champagne, she looked at the girls again. everyone seemed so hesitant about talking to any of the princes. maybe it was her stubborn mindset that made her think it, but as far as she was concerned they were just boys. anyone could talk to boys, but give them the title of prince and suddenly everyone is petrified of them. getting bored of being all by herself, henley stood and walked over to the princes. as she got closer, she recognized the two boys from when she had arrived. coming to stand within speaking distance of the boys, she greeted them, "Hello there. Mind if I join you?" she was very polite with her greeting as she knew next to nothing about these boys and didn't necessarily want to be on their bad side. after she finished speaking, she gave a small lopsided grin, unintentionally showing her goofy side.

paired with; charles marius holloway the third
mood; nervous; excited
location; the ball
with; no one
currently; headed inside
there I was again tonight
forcing laughter,
faking smiles
same old tired lonely place
walls of insincerity,
shifting eyes and vacancy
vanished when
I saw your face
all I can say is it was
enchanting to meet you
this night is sparkling,
don't you let it go
im wonderstruck,
blushing all the way home
ill spend forever
wondering if you knew
I was enchanted
to meet you
As usual I was rushing around my room rushing to get ready. I was generally the last person to show up and I was sure I would be a good half hour late. Running into the shower I quickly washed down, thankful I had thought to shave earlier today. I used my usual flower scented shampoo, body wash, and face wash and nearly forgot my flower scented conditioner. Once finished with my shower, I wrap my body in a towel and my hair both in towels. To calm my nerves while waiting for my hair to dry I grab a bottle of water from the fridge and drink the entire thing down, and take a few calming breaths with really dont help me what so ever. Walking back into my room, I take my long dark blonde hair out of the towel and brush it out before combing it out to allow it to reshape into its normal wavy state. Throwing some leave in conditioner in it, I start with just a little bit of make up, only doing mascara, a natural colored eye shadow, some light pink lip gloss, and just a small amount of blush. I grab my mothers pearl jewelry she had given me and carefully wrap the long string of pearls three times around my neck and then slip on the long pearl earrings. Rushing back into my room I grab my dress, pulling it on carefully but quickly as I can. Then slip on my nude pair of heels and fluff up my now mostly dry hair. I take a deep, long breath and look at myself in the mirror, hoping this was everything before booking it out the door not bothering to turn any lights off. I was already half an hour late and I still had about a twenty minute drive. I gasp realizing I forgot my mask and run back inside to grab the nude mask with glitter. I run back outside to the rental car. Not wanting to have to walk, I had rented it. It took me only 15 minutes to get there, thank heavens no one seemed to have seen me speeding. However I was still almost an hour late. I get out of the old rusty car gracefully and shut the creaky door. Walking as gracefully and as confidently as I could, I make my way into the ball. As I walked through the doors, I saw just how many girls were there, many more that were far more beautiful than myself. I scanned the room a moment before spotting the bar. The butterfly's in my stomach fluttered about relentlessly and I walked over on a mission to calm them. Not bothering to sit down, I ask the bartender to get me something strong. I wasn't the best with alcohol, but I didn't plan to get drunk or have more than one drink. WIP
