Fishtail walked over to the warriors den, not feeling hungry. She stared up at sky, watching the clouds.

Cottontail shook her head. "Not that I've noticed. Have you?"

Reedtail sighed at Dawnflower, then said "we don't come to harm you"

Sandfur's laid down, her tail curling around her paws. She shut her eyes, glad that she wasn't outside and in the cold. 'It'll be leaf-bare soon... will i get through the cold?' she thought. 'I barely managed last year...'

Dusk snorted. "Yeah, yeah, whatever" she said "they won't attack, we might be friendly"

Flea nodded and sat down.

Kyron scoffed at Dusk, though he had to agree with her on the Clan, years of them living so close to cats not from their Clan made them so used to outsiders that Kyron and the others could've probably dashed through their camp with malicious intent without any kind of warning and yet RootClan's only response would be a friendly salute. Though he wouldn't say something like that out loud. He rolled his eyes at Flea's stuttering to his reply, Kyron roughly swatted Flea on the head, "Oi, toughen up will you?" Kyron rolled his eyes once more and licked the paw he had used to hit Flea as he didn't want any trace of the dusty grey tom on him.

Flea squeaked. "D-Don't!" he said, trying to make himself bigger than the tom.

Dusk rolled her eyes at the two. "We need to find a den, preferably in the trees" she mewed. She climbed up the nearest tree and looked about for a big branch or a hollow in the top of a tree.

MothPaw heard someone talking in the distance, (Flea, Dusk and Kyron). He froze and pushed his kit under him.

(Paintleaf would be willing to take on an apprentice. XD Just thought I'd throw that out there. If Nightkit's 'already-future-mentor' comes back on though, I could return the rank to her )

Paintleaf again checked if anyone was by the Medicine cat entrance, but was relieved to find there wasn't. She faced back towards Cottontail and whispered "Some cats have been acting sort of strangely, like they have something on their mind, and are coming back to camp with weird scratches."
(She in a way was referring to any clan cats interacting with Dusk, although she doesn't know what's actually going on with them.)
(Also, there may not be any actual Rootclan cats talking with Dusk or such, that I just didn't seem to notice. If that is the case, please tell me, and I will make a different response XD)

Cottontail shook her head again. "I haven't really noticed, but i will pay more attention in the furture to wounds" she said. "I guess some cats seem a little jumpy or nervous, but only a few"
