Lynxpelt turned his attention to all the cats, nodding thankfully to hearing them congratulate him on becoming deputy. "Thank you everyone." He mewed as he stood below high rock, then turning his attention back to his apprentice, "I honestly wasn't expecting it too much." He chuckled and sat down, "I don't doubt my abilities, but I saw some clan members who looked a bit upset when I was called up."
