after several minutes of no luck, rica lifted her head and turned around to face her two hunters. "alright, how about we split up. we might have better luck," she explained with a twitch of her tail. "if you spot something big, try to signal for backup." rica's gaze flickered between the two hunters. "any objections?" she asked, wanting to see if anyone else had a better idea. though there was little chance she'd change her own plan for someone else's. rica was incredibly stubborn and she did not like to be bested by others, even her own packmates.

Raven shrugged, the plan sounded good to her.

Jake: I listened to what Rica had to say, then nodded. "Okay. Sounds good to me." I looked to the right and then the left. "I'll take left toward the river. Maybe an animal will be there getting a drink." I looked back at Rica for her signal for me to leave.

"that sounds good," rica nodded to jake, she then turned her gaze on raven."you take the right, and i'll keep going straight ahead." at that last note, rica turned around and disappeared into the deep undergrowth ahead of them. crouching low to the ground, rica's belly fur brushed against the forest floor as she crawled forward. the huntress remained in the shadows, attempting to not be seen by any nearby prey. her nose twitching and her ears pointed forward as she searched for any signs of small animals lurking nearby.

Raven muttered something under her breat but contributed toward the right.

Jake: About 20 minutes, which seemed like an hour, had passed by with no luck I decided to get a drink. I cautiously crawled toward the river. I scanned and sniffed all around me for any prey or humans. Quietly I took a few drinks of water. I raised my head up just a little. I then saw a fish swimming up stream in the middle of the river. I slowly crept up on it, while watching it very closely. I got ready to dive my head in the water and grab it. My head went under then came back up quickly. I had cought the fish just barley by it's tail fin. I rushed out of the water, so that I could set it down on the ground to hold it in my mouth better.

Kate: I kept prancing around in the forest trying to catch the butterfly. I was making so much noise as I stumbled across leaves and dead fallen branches.

(Sorry, jumping in a little late, here) Smiled at Kate's response. "It's alright, it was actually quite amusing." He dipped his head back to her, and turned to lead guard, Riokeach. "Will you set up a perimiter around the camp, after you are ready to go? We need to make sure that we don't get intercepted by the humans."

(we are preparing to leave for a new area, because the human hunters have invaded our current area. There is a hunting party out now, and the healers are collecting herbs, and the guards are setting up a perimeter)

Jake: I clamped the fish tight with my jaws. 'Should I take this back to the pack or to Rica?' I thought to my self. 'I'll just take it back to the pack, so I don't disturb any prey Rica is around or hunting.' I hurried back to the pack as fast as I could.
