Leaf woke up in his den and lifted his head as he still laid on his side. He stood up and stretched out his muscles he sat down and licked his paws grooming himself. He stood up again and perked his short ears up and walked out of the den to see more cats. He yawned making a "meow" noise along with it. He looked around for anycat to talk to. So many, But who?

Smallpaw smiled as he replied in a alright state, but he didn't laugh. Smallpaws ears fell slightly, but then Bearpaw nudged her slightly ad asked about training. He thought for a moment to herself. I guess it is alright, by battle moves are going well. Im just too small to reach high She said with a slight disappointed tone. Shaking her head, and looked over to bearpaw and asked the same thing. How is your training going? She asked with a smile as she nudged him with her paw. She glanced around camp for a moment, everyone was up already. the clan is lively today... She thought to herself, looking back at Bearpaw in waiting for a reply.

Morningshine couldn't blame Greystar for being indecisive - it was a really difficult choice, and an important one at that. "You're right that all of the warriors are suitable," she mewed slowly, thinking about it carefully. She was glad, and felt a bit honoured, that Greystar was asking her for her own opinion. She didn't have a clear-cut answer or a certain cat, but she was able to analyze the cats, finding their strengths and weaknesses. "Well, Shrewnose may be a bit young, but he is clever, loyal, and calm. He has a strength in hunting, but fighting isn't his strong suit." She then thought over the other candidates - Sandstorm and Hollyleaf. "Sandstorm; she is about the right age for the job. Hollyleaf can be sneaky and is fast, but he's not always the best hunter." She weighed the options up and down; she sort of had an opinion, but didn't want to say it out loud. Looking up at Greystar, she wondered what he was really thinking. Was she rambling, or saying useless information? Morningshine then noticed Fawnpaw leave the medicine den. Oh, he's awake now, she thought. I'll talk to him later, though.

The young warrior spotted his apprentice, Swiftpaw, coming up to greet him. His question to Foxpaw now useless, he mewed, "Oh sorry! Here he comes now." Turning around, he could definitely tell that Swiftpaw was enthusiastic for the day ahead. "Good morning Swiftpaw, you seem energetic," he greeted. "Let's hope we've been chosen for a patrol today." Looking up for the leader, he noticed Greystar having a conversation with the medicine cat. He absentmindedly wondered what they were talking about.

Foxpaw glanced up to see Hawkfeather and smiled. "Good Morning Hawkfeather, I don't think I've seen him leave the den-" she said, but was cut short as the patched tom came out drowsily. "Well I believe I found him" she said before standing up, and giving a couple of harsh licks to her coat. She was about to go over to her mentor, Greystar, but found that him and Morningshine were in the middle of a conversation. She sighed as she settled back into her spot, glancing every so often at him, hoping that they would soon finish.
