She paused a moment to shift around her weight and become more comfortable "You think she'll make a good warrior?" She asked kindly. She knew in her mind if her brother was teaching her he would be grate warrior.

- i'm afraid my mousepad isn't working well, and i may have to restart my computer to fix it if this doesn't work. restarting usually helps, but i may not be able to reply to anything.

ˢᵗᵒʳᵐᶜˡᵒᵘᵈ thought carefully. "She's a quick learner, and very smart. She gets distracted on the borders though. She has a brother in Dawnclan, and she misses him. I think she'll be better in a few moons, once she's used to being without him. Volepaw? I saw him once at a Gathering, they look alike. Same fur color, almost the same eye color. I swear the only difference is gender." He purred. "Anyway, she is wild and very curious. She can have an attitude, but she likes helping out, for the most part."

Larkstar called over to Wolfkit. "Hello," she said, padding over to the tom. "Are you excited to be an apprentice?" The kit was six moons old now, which meant he was ready for a mentor, and to start his training. She'd given some thought to which cat would mentor him, and was very pleased about her decision.

ᶤᵛʸᵖᵃʷgroomed herself out of boredom. She saw Larkstar talking to Wolfkit, and wondered who the kit's mentor would be. Wolfkit looked strong and smart. Ivypaw would be happy to train alongside him, maybe help give him some tips? It would give her good practice for when she was a mentor someday.

Featherpaw began to laugh, "Yea rig-" she was cut off when she gasped as Ebonypaw gripped her scruff and heaved her off coarse. The two cats bean to tumble down the hill, past the Great Oak, and splashed into the water. She felt water splash onto her fur, making it cling to her legs. The current made water push onto her paws , almost making her lose her balance. Ebonypaw suddenly sprang at her, landing directly on her. Within seconds , she was pinned. "That was not fair at all !" She cried, "I could have won! " She had to admit this was actually very fun. She hadn't had 'fun' in a very long time. "You cheated ." she declared triumphantly as she pushed him off of her and rolled into the water. A gleam of challenge flickered in her eyes , "Bet you can't beat me at this ! " She shouted, bringing her paw up and swiping it through the water. Water flew everywhere, especially on Ebonypaw. Featherpaw laughed under her breath and prepared for him to attack.

"Sounds a bit like me." She purred "It must be hard with out her brother, I know it be hard for me or at least I would be lonely." She said as she wrapped her tail around her paws and looking over to her Stormcloud. "Hey, when am I going to get and apprentice? I'm kind of jealous."

ˢᵗᵒʳᵐᶜˡᵒᵘᵈ listed the apprentices in his head. "Soon. Brookpaw's mentor, Embersong? She's sick, and Mintyleaf says she might not make it. If that's the case, Whitestar said you'll mentor Brookpaw. I know that's a sad way to have it happen, but Starclan does everything for a reason." He looked out to the moor, wondering when Whitestar would be back so he could stop guarding. Not that he minded, but talking about apprentices made him itching to train.

"Oh." She frowned "How sad, your mentor is like best friend, it's going to be hard on Brookpaw, I hope it doesn't come to me being her mentor, but I will gladly take it on." She smiled a little on the last part, she looked out in to the clearing of camp to the other warriors and apprentices "Ever apprentice is important to the clan along with ever kit, they become warriors and serve the clan." She paused once more "I miss being an apprentice though even if the clan wasn't as lively as now, I all ways had time to chat and play around with the others, now all I seem to do is hunt, not that I mind or any thing, I'm just saying it be nice to play again."

ˢᵗᵒʳᵐᶜˡᵒᵘᵈ purred. "I understand that. Keep in mind, if you ever have kits, you can play with them. Nobody will notice anything odd, all mothers play with their kits." He chuckled, but his eyes turned a little worried. "I want a family like that. Remember how fun it was when we were kits? I want to raise sons and daughters of my own, retire someday and watch them grow up." He frowned. Being deputy could be dangerous, especially during times of battle. Deputies always had to be beside the leader, first to fight. Stormcloud didn't mind, but he also wanted a chance to live.
