I think that none of the pups is going to be as much of a match with the BEG as the blue BMD was with the BMD.

I was feeling a bit down that I did not get the 2013 dog then I looked at how many pets the artists gave us yesterday. I have 73 new babies in my nursery and they look like they are going to be beauties! My favorites so far? The goggled butterflies (steampunk?) and the tapestry pups....but I also love the cave horses too.....! The chess pups have been named king, queen, bishop, pawn, knight and rook....am I missing any chess names?

I was feeling a bit down that I did not get the 2013 dog then I looked at how many pets the artists gave us yesterday. I have 73 new babies in my nursery and they look like they are going to be beauties! My favorites so far? The goggled butterflies (steampunk?) and the tapestry pups....but I also love the cave horses too.....! The chess pups have been named king, queen, bishop, pawn, knight and rook....am I missing any chess names?

You could always use 'check' and 'mate' too

I didn't even think about chess-themed dogs, now I really hope that's what they're going to be! That would be so awesome.

J'adoube: is when you keep you finger on a chess piece well you decide if that's the move you want to make.
Castling: is when the king and rook switch places.
Skittles : is when chess is played without a timer.

i named my checkered pups from '10 'checkmate'

&& i think i'll name the new hoard from this month 'kings & bishops' :v
