Fogheart had wanted to ask the cats who were in involved with fighting off the fox had chased it off successfully off of their territory, as a deputy he knew he could talk to most cats without them questioning why but it seemed wrong to just waltz up to a cat asking them about something they worked hard to fight against, especially when it came to Silverdust and Ghosttail who had fought it firstpaw. He cursed at himself for not realizing they were in trouble sooner, his tail lashing as he paced back and fourth in the camp clearing. Fogheart only stopped when he realized that Frozenkit's apprentice ceremony was about to start, and he didn't want to ruin it by acting like he was. He was proud of the cream-colored young tom, it only seemed like yesterday when Frozenkit had decided to mess with Spiritpaw.

The tortoiseshell tom sorted through his herb stores, shuddering as his paws neared some deathberries.

Deerleap;31 moons;
The white and black tabby tom hissed as a mouse scuttled away from him. Standing, the tom opened his mouth and instantly caught the scent of mouse again, a older one, easy prey. Stalking through the fern fronds, he crouched low, darting forward her used his paws to crush the mouse's spine. Smirking, he scraped dirt of it and walked off to find more prey.

Nightstripe;19 moons;
Little legs streaking up a oak, Nightstripe hurried after a large grey squirrel, her paws almost clawing it's tail. As it ran along a branch, the she-cat jumped after it, letting the branch bend and throw her upwards, her tail swinging her toward the rodent. Landing squarely on it's tail, she reached forward and clamped her jaws on it's neck. Holding up her prey triumphantly, she looked down as cracks began to emerge in the bark. Mumbling a curse, she let herself fall to the forest floor, landing perfectly.

Whitepaw;10 moons;
Whitepaw exhaled, hissing in a high pitch.

Icefur purred sadly but tried to stay happy for her son "When you become leader I will be very old" she meowed faking the happiness in her voice. She will miss him snuggling up in her fur. She will miss when he was a kit. She purred and shooed him to go on with his tail. She padded out of the nursery and sat in the front curling her tail over her paws neatly. She was proud for her son after all.

"Hmm.. your gonna need to work on it kid, we'll continue tomorrow alright?" With that she turned and ran to the highrock.

Completely ignorant about his false coat colour, he started to walk out of the nursery den, as dirty as can be. All he was focused on was being an apprentice. Being the best. Being the best for his clan. Being the best...in the whole forest!

Fogheart had sat on the ground right next to the highrock, his fluffy gray tail curling around his front paws. He caught Icefur watching from the nursery and flashed her a proud smile for both her and Frozenkit - soon to be Frozenpaw, and he hoped she noticed it. He chuckled and turned his gaze towards the gathering cats, patiently waiting for the ceremony to start.

[Frozenkit better not end up like Tigerstar or Fogheart will whack him on the head! >:U]
