The Love That Shouldn't Exist 1x1

I was half asleep when suddenly my mind began to race. Cotton Candy blue hair, dark blue eyes, short shorts that made you want just a small taste. The girl`s eyes flashed in my head, gazing back at me, that sly smile present on her lips. I felt my hand instantly shoot out, slapping around on the bedside for the crumpled piece of paper that held Phyre`s number. My fingers brushed against something with the texture of exactly what I was looking for. My fingers scrambled to grasp it, pulling towards myself as I opened my eyes. I looked it over once, then twice. I wanted to call, but it was so soon. I didn`t want to sound desperate. I grinned slightly, setting the paper back in it`s old spot. I threw the blankets aside, crawling out of my bed and over to the window side. I opened the window, my eyes instantly adjusting to the darkness that lingered outside. I climbed out the window, but didn`t leap down, but instead settled myself on the window pane. My eyes gazed up at the star filled sky, lingering on the moon that looked like the Chesire cat`s wicked grin. The wind blew softly, pushing my hair against my face. With a soft chuckle, I moved it over, tucking it back behind my ear.

Ixion suddenly opened the door, "Yo, Phyre, we gotta run to the store, you wanna come with?" His loud obnoxious voice attacked my peace and quiet, and I growled lowly at him, "Yes! I you can be even slightly quiet."
"Oh, im sorry, Did I hurt the little Hell Hound's ears? aww poor baby." He cooed over me. I gave a long sigh, and stood up, thinking about putting the cigarette out on his bare chest. That would mark his perfect incubus skin. No. Im not that mean to my friends. "Shut the hell up moron." I looked him in the eyes, "What do we need to go get?"

I wasn`t paying much attention to really anything, more I was just enjoying myself when I heard voices below. I looked over, seeing a faint color that seemed blue. My heart began to race as I looked closer and closer. I nearly fell from leaning forwards. I caught myself, sighing softly. Was that her? My gaze lingered, I wanted to go have a look, but something inside me wouldn`t let me budge. I growled in frustration, I wanted to know if it was her. Once I noticed the other two figures near her, my sudden desire came to a hault. Who are they? Is she with someone? Doubt crept into her mind as she stared at the three figures. A frown was present on her lips as she pulled her knees up to her chest, never once taking her eyes from them.

"Well we need some eggs, bread, peanut butter, chips and salsa, so that I can eat Ms. IOnlyEatOnceAWeek." Ix replied

"I eat three meals a day, for your information, i just dont eat myself out of house and home every time I do so. I dont have your metabolism that makes you permanently sexy, you damn Incubus. Let me go get my jacket then i'll go with you two." I hurried past him, then shouted back at Ixion "why dont you put on a shirt!" I pulled on my zip up jacket and then came back outside. I was begining to feel like we were being watched. I looked around, and dared a glance in the direction of her door. I ran my fingers through my faded hair and then looked back at my friends, Still waiting for Ix to put on a shirt. I looked up at the moon, hades please help my friends, make them less oblivious of human laws. I silently hoped.

I sighed, my voice caught in my throat. I wasn`t paying attention as my slipper fell off my foot, hitting the pavement with a soft thud! Groaning, I leaped down from my window that was merely four or five feet off the ground. I was lucky enough to only stumble when I landed, but not completely fall. I walked a few paces to get the slipper. I bent down my eyes snapping up to see her not far from where I stood. I instantly straightened, my gaze never leaving her. My slipper still laid at my feet, waiting for me to rescue it. But my eyes wouldn`t move. They staid frozen on Phyre, not once did my mind nor eyes wonder towards what I should be doing, it was to stuck in shock to realize what was going on. The breeze ruffled the trees around us, a few leaves would float in the air, forming one of those really cool tornado type things. They always facinated me, they were truly amazing. I spared a glance at the others who where with her, before slowly returning the gaze to her.

I saw movement out the corner of my eye and looked over in the direction to see Zoey, standing stark still staring at me, I held her eyes a moment before i decided to speak, "I guess it's a small world after all." As I walked over to her, my steps silent on the concrete path, I bent down and scooped up the slipper, "Reminds me of that one movie, but instead of finding the slipper on stairs, I found it in front of the beautiful girl, on the concrete sidewalk." I gave a gentle smile as I handed it to her.

"Damn Wolf, Is that your girl!" Ixion shouted from the doorway.

A grin spread across my face as I took my slipper. "Cinderella?" I heard a call from behind, causing my gaze to snap over her shoulder at the guy behind her. My heart dropped lightly before I looked at her. "Um, yeah. I guess it is a small world..Thanks." An insecure wave suddenly washed over me as I realized what I was wearing. I shifted my gaze down, tugging slightly at my shirt, wishing for once I hadn`t worn it. I dropped the slipper lightly on the ground, slipping my foot back into it. A soft sigh escaped my throat, I never realized how cold it was until just then when the soft warm fuzzy cloth covered my foot. I smiled softly, lifting my gaze back to her dark blue eyes.

I looked over my shoulder shooting him a look that was the very definition of 'If Looks Could Kill' and he looked away, turning back to talk to Minx. I returned my eyes to Zoey. "That's my roommate, Ixion, he's an idiot so dont listen to him." I looked at her clothes, I had yet to change mine, and a smirk pulled at my lips at the words used on the print. 'you wish.' She had no idea. "I can never remember the names of those silly stories. Im more of a Brother's Grimm story type girl." I realized how uncomfortable she was, when she kept shifting her gaze other places.

I grinned slightly, mocking Ixion`s words, "Your girl,huh?" My gaze held a teasing look as I stopped tugging my shirt. I noticed she read my pants, and instantly my heart began to beat slightly faster. I`m not real sure why the gesture made me slightly excited, I guess because she took interest in what I was wear? I don`t know, it seems lately the smallest things get my attention. I chuckled lightly, "I was never big in stories as such, but for some reason I knew that one." I shook my head, I had read a few of the Brother's Grimm stories, whenever my grandma didn`t force me to listen to her fairy tales.

"He asked me bout my night, told him that I gave out my number to this attractive girl I met at Tony's." I could hear her heart from where I was standing. Did I have that much of an effect on her? If so that was great. "He's tried to steal every person i talk to. He knows now that I have dibs on said beautiful girl." I winked at her, unafraid of her reaction. I was sure it was going to be cute, hopefully i'd get to see that delectable blush.
