I walked into the camp for The Dirts and saw 1 or 2 other people walking around. I stopped and looked down at what I wearing, suddenly and weirdly conscious or my red off-the-shoulder sweater and black denim shorts. My hair was tied in a knot and I had my knife on my belt. I was barefoot, as usual. I went up to one of the others and offered my hand. "Hi, I'm Echo Keller, I was hoping to join?"
