Fire watched as Affair danced over to her. A slight smile played across her muzzle. With another loud snort the mare slowly walked into the mouth of the cave. It was a small one. Only big enough to fit two horses. Though, its tight walls made it seem cozy and welcoming. Once she reached the far end of the cave, Fire collapsed. Letting out a sharp whinny as......~Fade•To•Black~

Midnight Snow
||Lone Mare||With no one||
The mare flicked her porch black mane as she grazed, occasionally lifting her head to sniff the air. She had fared quite well on her own, but her instinct constantly nagged at her to find others of her kind. She lifted her head once more, and decided to cover a bit of ground to see if she would have better luck. Her Well-crafted black hooves stepped forward, striking the ground faster and faster with every pace.

Foreign Affair snorted, then grew still as he waited. He waited for some time, and, eventually, the absence of sound told him one of two things. Hastily, then more cautiously, he approached the cave, nickering, as if to ask if the mare was alright.

Silents covered the cave as Fire turned to look behind her. There, laying helplessly on the ground, was a little colt. His coat a bay color, his face and legs white. A little bay sabino colt. Reaching over the mare began to groom her little foal while thinking of a name. The colt let out a small whine that sounded to the mare like a wolf howl Once she finished she stood up from her spot and nuzzled the small creature. A name poped into her mind. And from that moment on, the colt was named Cry Wolf or Wolf for short.
