"Nice to meet you aswell." I mumbled quietly. "I usually don't like parties, my friend talked me into going." I responded, at that moment my phone vibrated, alerting me I got a text. I pulled it out and looked to see who it was, "Speak of the devil." I said mostly to myself. "Can't make it, but stay and have fun. Meet a boy or something." It said. I sighed softly, shoving the phone back into my pocket. "So much for that." I mumbled.

He shrugged. "I'm not sure why I came, really. Maybe out of boredom, I guess." He then looked at her as she stared at her phone, but didn't ask what she had read. Flynn looked out towards the ocean. "So.. how long have you lived here?" he asked her, kicking at some sand.

He nodded. "Well, you've lived here longer than me," Flynn said. He looked down into his cup to see how much of the punch he had drunken, and realized it was empty. Well, he had definitely been thirsty.

I nodded, "Wonder why I've never seen you before." I mumbled. I smiled back softly, turning my attention towards a tall built up guy running towards me, shouting about tossing a football. "Watch it..." I mumbled, but he couldn't hear me as he came crashing into me, knocking me to the ground.
