Jacob chuckled as he followed Dylan and thought about what they could possibly do so that Jacob could win Dylan back. He sighed as he thought.

Destiny looked at Josh, and sat next to him. "I heard.. And I can tell you're not taking this too well." She frowned. "Do you believe that Jacob's parents really sent those texts? Cause I really can't tell.." She just asked.

Josh shook his head, "I... I don't know anymore, Destiny. I just feel like I can't trust anyone with my heart. I don't know if he's lying or telling the truth. I don't know if he really loves me. I've been in situations like this..." he'd started to cry again quietly, tears going down his cheeks, "I just... don't know..."

Destiny just stared at Josh, and then sighed, wiping his tears away. "Look, Josh.. I understand this is hard. I really do. Cause I've been involved in situations like this too." She sighed, thinking about the past, and then looking back at him. "But I saw all that chemistry between you guys. I saw how his eyes lite up every time he saw you. I saw how he automatically ran to you when me and Wish was in the hospital. And.. This is coming from the girl who, I confess, secretly liked Jacob for all these years... But Josh.. I don't think he's lying." She said softly.

Josh just looked down, hugging his pillow pet. He gently pet his head, messing with it's ear. He just... he really, truely, didn't know what to think, "But how, Destiny?" He asked, looking at her again, "People act. I used to act. It's not hard to act in love."

Destiny took a small glance at his pillow pet, honestly finding it cute. She then looked back up at Josh. "I know what you mean." She sighed, then shrugged. "How I know Jacob loves you is that.. He can have any girl he knew if he wanted to. He could've chosen Jennifer, he could've chosen Angela.. He could've chosen me. But no.. He chose you, and you're a guy, when he was specially known for going out with girls. I rarely see people do that." She gave him a small smile.

Josh blinked and shrugged a bit, knowing she was kind of right. He messed with the pillow a little before speaking, "I just need a little before talking to him again. I don't know how long, I just need to wait. If you see him... just tell him that..."

Destiny smiled, and then put his hand on his back. "I understand. Take your time. I'm pretty sure Jacob won't mind." She looked down, then realizing what he had in his arms. "... Is that a pillow pet?" She couldn't help but ask.

Josh blinked and nodded slowly, "It's my... break up pillow... I guess..." he was still clutching yo his chest, not really wanting to let go.
