Aurora payed the cab driver. She stepped out and breathed in. The salty ocean air tickled her nose. She rubbed her eyes. She rushed into the cemetary and pulled up her hood. She kneeled down by the gravestone that read,' Brianna Colins, dead June 16, 2001. Mauled by sharks.' Aurora's whole body shook with the sobbs that chocked her for years. 'BRIANNA!' She screamed. Bystanders stood and stared.
I know why
the caged bird sings.
A caged bird stands
on a grave of dreams,
his shadow shouts on
a night mares scream.
We think the caged bird sings,
when indeed, he cries.
The song of a bird,
can never be caged.

Oh, I just went back and added pictures. Hope that's okay..
Oceana Wavera Hannah GracelieHannah looks down the road and breathes in the salty air. Her right hand is resting in Blackie's thick fur as she walks along. Her bare feet hit the road with muffled thumps and her surfboard is tucked under her arm. She smells the air again and tries to hear the sound of waves. She sighs and keeps walking. Hannah looks at the black iron fence and the sign that proclaims it to be a graveyard. "That's not the beach.." she mutters to herself and tries to picture a mental map of the place she just moved to. Hannah fails. "Already lost." she grumbles to herself as she leans her surfboard up against the fence. She slips into the cemetery and starts looking around for someone who can give her directions. Hannah blatantly hopes that no one will notice her bare feet or the giant wolf that's loping alongside her and giving death glares to everyone they pass. Hannah smiles sheepishly at them and hides her tanned face behind her dusty gold curls. Her blue eyes look at her feet in embarrassment and her the freckles that dust her nose are surrounded by her blush.

I have felt pain.
I have kept fighting.
When I smiled at the world it bit me.
When I turned my cheek it hit me.
But I'm still alive and I will now accept that.
