Eskie couldn't help but hear his disappointment. She simply smiled. "Any male that wants me." She said, nuzzling him. She really just wanted any male but Blue, any male that cared for her with all the love she desired. No other brute she had met had qualified as fully as Demon. She loved him.

He sighed and breathed in her scent, happily. Changing the subject, the brute asked, "So what do you think our pups will look like?" he sat down and wagged his tail looking at her lovingly

Eskie licked his nose, happy that he was happy. "Well, I think they will look like us. Silver fur and dark brown. I want two sons and a daughter. What's your preference?" She asked. She never got this kind of loving excitement from Blue. All he cared about was physical affection. He did nothing for her heart. Demon held her so close, there wasn't a doubt in her mind that this is where she belonged.

The brute smiled and flopped down on his back, staring at the trees. "I want one of each. A brute that looks like you and a fae like me.. Actually, all I need is with me now. But, it would be great to have those bundles of joy as well." he glanced over at the fae, smiling.

--He chuckled and nuzzled her back. "I knew you'd like it!" He licked her between her eyes. "Plenty of room for bouncy puppies." He pictured his litter squirming around the large den.

Scarlet blushed and licked his cheek. She said sweetly, feeling very content, "And in a short two months, a special Alpha is going to be a father." She nuzzled him again, smiling happily. She sat down and began to lightly groom her red fur, pausing to yawn, tired. She wondered yet again what their pups would look like, daydreaming faintly of red and white pups.

Eskie smiled. "I'm counting the weeks myself. Should we go back? I think things have cooled down with Blue enough, and it's getting dark." She said, chilled. Even though it wasn't cold during the day, chilly spring nights made her shiver. She huddled close to Demon, looking back in the direction of camp.

Demon nodded, "Yeah, seems like a plan Eskie. Lets go." he called to his mate as he stood up shaking his pelt and resting his tail on her back, keeping her warm and walking with her into camp.

--Angel smiled and licked her neck. "And this handsome alpha will have gorgeous pups." he stretched and curled up in a ball. "I'm going to sleep. Join me if you wish," He yawned before laying his head down and closing his eyes

Scarlett padded over to him and curled up against him silently, her tail 'whapping' against the ground happily, slowly slowing as she fell asleep pressed against his warm fur. She couldn't have been happier; he was her first mate, and her heart raced when she thought of having pups of her own.

Eskie walked along him, her tail wagging, brushing him with every wag. She walked into camp and looked to her small, cold den. "Could I sleep with you?" She asked. They had never become formally mates, he had never asked her. She wanted to be with him, but their rocky relationship left her wondering.
