She was probably annoying the grunt, so she switched topics. "Guess the Rogue girl's aren't too cute either, huh?" Heaven knew Rogues were as aggressive as Aqua's.

[Whistle.Concert]

"I called a rouge a 'hottie' once. She punched me in the gut so hard I started vomiting blood." Leon responded, closing his eyes and smirking a bit. "So rouge girls...Aren't on the top of my list."

"Heh." Ash sat back, arms behind her head. "Sounds like us. Though you could be a little more charming about it," she added, flicking her gaze towards him. "Any girl'd do that, not just Rogues."
Hmm... talking about romance in a time like this. It seemed... odd.

"Oh, humans care a lot about looks, too." Leon responded. "I mean, I'd probably get more than punched if I didn't look decent. I mean, there's a difference between 'attractive boy with no tact' and 'creepy boy with no tact'."

"Oh, I agree completely," Ash said to Leon, smirking a little. Justin had been translating for her as usual, so she nodded to the bird Pokémon. "And with you as well. What's on the inside is important. But humans are a vain species- we find it easier if what's on the outside is good, too."

"I think both's important." Leon responded. "Mostly because a good appearance is usually a sign of good genetics? It's kind of an instinctual thing, as well as a thing of vanity, I think."
