it is always in the small towns where the most supernatural
of occurrences begin. when the unbelievable happens right
under the human nose. this time, it is the seaside town of
pelican, florida that finds itself facing the supernatural lore.
with a population of 3,487, not much remains a secret what
with nosey neighbours and childish gossipers. so, naturally,
the secrets of pelican, florida spread quickly and the skills
of eight extraordinary teenagers were soon splashed on the
cover of every newspaper in north america. 'what talents'
do you ask? why, the supernatural ability to shapeshift. it's
not much of a surprise that the secret came out as soon as
it did when you think about the talents of these teenagers.
tigers and lions are not exactly native to southern florida.
of course, with characteristics as unique (and potentially
dangerous) as these, the lives of eight, small-town teens
were, before long, put in jeopardy. hunters; as cliché as
it sounds. hunters out of for the heads of eight innocent
girls and boys who could not help how they were born. the
solution? to run, and run far. find somewhere safe and hide
until they are forgotten. so, that's what they did. stealing
away into the night with only the clothes on their backs, a
bit of money, and a red pick up truck, these supernaturally-
gifted teenagers ran from their lives in pelican, florida in
search of safety... in search of normalcy.

basically ;; eight teenagers (four boys and four girls) originating from the fictitious
town of pelican, florida become renowned world-wide for having the ability to shape-
shift into big cats. wanting to avoid both the fame and the government officials who
are hunting them down for either experimentation or slaughter, the eight friends
steal away into the night in a red-pick up truck. the role play begins from here. c:

meet dakota amy cricklewood, more commonly known as kodi. she is a nineteen year old teenager
from the nowhere-town of pelican, florida and possesses the nasty habit of shape-shifting into a
lion. kodi is the self-proclaimed 'rebel' of this little group of friends, known for her daring and
adventurous nature. if there is an adventure to be had or a quest to undergo, one can bet that she
will be leading the exploration. in short, she knows where there is fun to be had. however, her
rebelliousness does not come without its faults. irresponsible, reckless and cocky, if there is a task
of importance needing doing, it is best not to entrust its completion with dakota. often does she
get swept away by the moment and forget that she is under public scrutiny. dakota did not have
much family to leave in pelican, only her father, tom, but they were not that close, and he was not
exactly a fan of his daughter owning a set of fangs and claws. the only friends she needs, the oucast
and the hipster, are right by her side. as are her enemies, the athlete and the introverted, for
that matter. it is not exactly that they are enemies, they are all friends after all, but they do not
always see eye-to-eye. sadly, right now, she is relationshipless and crushless.

Meet the lovely Randi Avery Alexander. Randi is definitely female, no questions asked. She is currently 18years of age, her birthday is January 19th, 1995. She was born on a rather cold winter night at roughly 12:55 am. Her mother and father had always wanted a boy so they could name him after his great uncle Randy, however when they found it was a girl, they didn't let that stop them. They weren't sure at first how to make the name fit, but they decided to change the y to an i, hoping to girly it up a little. She doesn't seem to mind the name, in fact she actually likes it..But Randi has a secret. Anyway, lets move on to looks, shall we? Randi is about five foot three inches, rather short, huh? She doesn't really mind being short, for she prefers 'fun sized'. She weighs in right about one hundred five pounds. She is somewhat on the skinny side, but hey, it's what society accepts. She has bright blue eyes that are surrounded by thick full lushes black eyelashes. Her skin tone is more on the tan side all year long, however it gets a little lighter during the winter. Her hair tumbles down in dark brown locks about mid back, always straight but sometimes you'll catch it wavy or in a messy bun. Personality time.. Randi is someone who cannot be described in one word, rather several. She is very passionate. She likes giving her opinions, and she stands for them with strong beliefs. For an example, when she's arguing, she's more into giving feeling and emotion to her arguments, she never sticks to the facts. ut that's just how she works, she believes strongly in her opinions and she will express them. This girl is quite outgoing, she's an adorable little creature. She is loud at times, but who isn't? She's someone who's there for anyone and everyone, she has a hard time saying 'no'. She loves to socialize with everyone, including kids. Randi has her good side, but then she has her 'flaws'. Stubborn. That's a good word to describe her. She doesn't exactly like the 'easy way', she likes to take her own way, or the 'hard way'. She doesn't like letting others do stuff for her, if she wants something but can't afford or get it, don't offer to get it for her. She will argue endlessly, refusing to let you get that for her, simply because she wanted to get it for herself. She enjoys going out of her way to catch others eyes. Randi likes when others stare as she walks by. Some would say she 'dresses to impress' and she does, she wants to be sure she looks good. Her past is normal, like many other teens she grew up with her mom and dad. She is the only child, and she certainly does not mind one bit. When she was younger she was more of a quiet girl, nut as she got older she blossomed into a very social and out there girl. She, for the most part, was constantly with her aunt and cousin, Marie. It was actually a summer night when she was with her cousin that she had her first shift. However, when she shifted for the first time, it scared her cousin and before she knew it, the fear caused her cousin to not want to see her. She spent years trying to figure out what she did wrong. Finally her mom explained it all to her, and it somewhat made sense. It was when she was 15(10 years later) when they finally started talking again. Lets move on to her love life. Randi doesn't currently have a crush on anyone, but her eyes are definitely open. She is straight, sorry beautiful ladies. Her best friends are [the rebels name] and [the genius's name]. Her enemies are [the popular's name] and [class clowns name]. She doesn't have a boyfriend, but don't worry, because she does want one one day, when he comes along, hopefully she will know.

patrick arnold ventura is the name of this handsome young man. however, he tends to go by pat or patty. he was born on the last day of august in philadelphia to proud parents. however, they divorced soon after due to his mom cheating, and he moved to pelican with his dad and stepmom when he was four; he very rarely contacts his birth mother, and honestly doesn't care about her. pat has an ability that not many people know about: he is able to shapeshift into a cheetah.
from the outside, pat seems like a smart kid, very reserved, quiet, and unassuming. if they got to know him better, they'd find that most of their assumptions were true. patrick is very intelligent- he is at the top of his class- but his outlook on life is also very inquisitive. however, he isn't very open, and doesn't think before he speaks.
pat has remained within the same small group of friends for a while, and although he feels that they are all his friends, there is one in particular he has trouble seeing eye to eye on, and that is the class clown. however, the two he feels closest to are the hipster and the introverted.
