I'm a Christian, and so, because of my religion, I do not celebrate halloween, at least not in the way most do. Halloween, A.K.A. All Hallows Eve, is a celebration of the Devil's birthday. That is why there are so many people imitating scary, or ghastly thinks and demons on this day. Whenever I go out to trick or treat, I either don't dress up, or dress up as something nice, like a fairy, or an angel, or something. By dressing up in a scary and/or demonic costume, you are actually CELEBRATING the life and birth of the Satan. If anyone has any questions for me, I am all ears.

you know, I'm Christian too, and I love scaring people on Halloween (though, I'm not exactly what you might call the 'perfect Christian' I do do some kind of bad things >.<, or maybe it's just cause I like scaring people X3) but yes, on All Hallows Eve your technically supposed to dress up scary so demons and other creepy things can't tell who it is, I'm planning on being a werewolf again this year (since I can't be my fursona >> money issues, I love were-creatures X3)

Does going as Lady Gaga considered going as something scary or ghastly? XD
I haven't been looking forward to the day I have to say this, but I am officially quitting CS! Since '09 I have matured and just haven't felt interested in it anymore. I won't forget any of you guys who I have made friendships with, you've all been wonderful.
Peace out, don't do drugs, eat cookies, and be sugary. <33333

Um... isn't Halloween a Druid holiday? I was watching a documentary on All Hallows Eve, a group of ancient Satanists were doing satan related stuff, but some Druids dressed in scary costumes jumped out to scare them away...
It really isn't an anti-Christian holiday...
I myself am Christian too.
EDIT: Catholic to be exact, which is Christian though.

I don't have lot's of time to dress up, so I might be something generic, ghost, vampire, cat or something.

I'm sorry, but I believe that's incorrect. It's not supposed to be the birthday of Satan, I'm pretty sure.
"All Hallows Eve" was a night when demons are supposed to come to, I guess you'd call it, the mortal world. People would dress up as frightening things to scare the demons away, thus, All Hallows Eve (Halloween), came into existence.

No need to be rude, we were just pointing out the actual origins of the Holiday. >.<

I decided to go as a ghost. I'm wondering if I should be a realistic looking one, or just cut eye holes in a bedsheet XD

I was not being rude.

And by saying "actual origins" you are basically saying that I am 100% wrong. :/
