Frozenkit looked down at the floor, and didn't reply to his mother. He didn't have a clear memory of his father at all. But his mother brought him up often, her voice oozing with sadness. He didn't like it when his mother was sad. So at times he'd interrupt her, or distract her with something else, in hopes of making her happy; focus on something other then her mate. But what he did still made her upset nonetheless. The cold breeze chilled up Frozenkit's spine, and made him shiver.

Icefur saw him shiver and wrapped her tail around him warming him. She looked at him and purred seeing his fur fluffed up from the wind "It would be nice if you werent a mischevious one all the time" she meowed with a hint of tease in her voice quickly changing the subject

Fogheart winced as Icefur's words replayed in his head as soon as she had left. He hadn't meant for Frozenkit to mess with Spiritpaw, but that kit was fast! Fogheart looked over to where Spiritpaw and thankfully the apprentice didn't look hurt in any way. Then again, Frozenkit was a bit too young to do any real damage to anyone. He shook his head and wondered when it would be a good time to apologize to Icefur. Obviously she would be spending time with her son so it wouldn't be a good time to do so. Fogheart figured he should wait for a while, perhaps talk to Ashstar and set up a couple of hunting patrols. Fresh-kill was surely needed in his cold weather.
