Shadow yawned and walked out of his den. Just perfect, he thought, another sunny, happy day. He snarled when the light blinded him. He knew today was not gonna be a good day. "I just can't wait to get in the shade beneath the trees," he whispered to himself.

Rose woke with a start, yawned, and then bounced happily into the sun light. What an amazing day!Perfect for swimming... She thought to herself. First she would go find someone to talk to, maybe they would want to swim too.

Illusion watched as Shadow grumpily made his way towards the exit of the camp. She shook her head before padding away. She found a nice shady spot near the camp to shield her eyes from the burning sunlight that flittered through the trees.
