Wynter shifted uncomfortably and stared at the table. "Why?" she asked her brother.

"Because you dated him on some stupid dare!" Chris spat. "He should've never done that to my little sister..." he growled.

"Chris, I'm not that little anymore." Wynter said, trying to calm he brother. She didn't want her brother to confront Jaxson, she'd much rather talk to him once they left.

He grit his teeth. "Wynter is perfectly capable to take care of herself.", he replied hotly.

"I would like the pork and crab wanton soup please," I told the waitress. I waited for her to walk away before talking again. "What is happening with you three?" I asked.

"You just...isn't it common sense that you don't get on an angel's bad side??" Christopher hissed. He had never left the table, but the two were close enough that they could have a conversation.

"Christopher, be civil!" Wynter growled, finally looking over at Jaxson. "He gets overprotective sometimes..." she explained. She really didn't want to do this now, in the middle of a restaurant.

"We'll finish this after we eat." Chris vowed angrily, his fists clenching under the table.

"Nothing Negra, I'll explain later.", he watched as waitress set their food on the table. He picked up his chopsticks and started on his sushi roll, stupid it in sauce. Jaxson was a big fan of spicy foods and it took a lot to burn his tongue, that's why he loved wasabi also known as pure fire.

I looked at the angel. "I'd like to know now," I said, looking bitterly at the boy.

"After we eat.."

Wynter looked a little hurt, and started moving her food around on her plate. She had lost her appetite.

Chris watched his sister, a concerned look on his face. "Wyn, please eat..." he begged. He didn't want his sister to go back to not eating. She had done it when Jaxson broke up with her and he was afraid she'd do it again.

"I'm not hungry anymore." Wynter mumbled, still picking at her food. She was too involved in the thoughts and questions whirling through her mind. She didn't realize she was doing back into her depression spiral where she didn't way for weeks at a time.

"Eat you two..", he said to the girls. What was wrong with them all the sudden?
