Seeing the worst of the battle has cleared out and most of the tributes had left, Jennifer-Anne walked back up to the cornucopia to see what was left. She found and axe and a small backpack, which she gratefully took. Jennifer-Anne grabbed a few hunting knives and she walked away, not wanting to be near the cornucopia too long. Seeing no one around, Jennifer-Anne didn't feel the need to run, so she calmly walked into the jungle.
"Hey, what took you so long," Lawrence joked, grabbing a knapsack from the cornucopia before coming back to Amethyst. He put his knives into the knapsack for storage and he held his spear in his other hand. Lawrence surveyed their surroundings, though it seemed the only tributes in sight were dead. "What do you think we should do?" He asked.
Tigris search through her backpack, sweating from her long run and the immense heat. She found that the pack contained a set of knives, 10 water purifier tablets, bread, soup, empty water bottle, and some chicken. Surely all these things would come in handy. Tigris made a mental note not to drink any water without purifying it. Why else would the game markers put the tablets in the pack. She replaced her backpack and picked up her sword.

"Probably run into the forest. We need to learn what's edible and what's not. I've got a water purifier, so we'll be good," Amy told him, going through the contents of the backpack she held in her hand. Walking into the woods, so could here the bugs, and feel the muggy air on her skin. "I need to get clean. I'll bet I was responsible for half those deaths," she told Lawrence. Already her belly lurched from hunger. "After all those days of eating, I'm already hungry," she said with a sigh.

Once she found a water purifier she knew these games would be games where purified and good water would be scarce and the chances of dying increased within a few days. Suddenly she wished she had a large backpack, surely it had more things in it to use. Except she didn't have it.
She started to rest a bit. She made sure she was on a wide branch and wouldn't fall while sleeping. She then made sure to secure and hide herself and supplies with a branch and leaves that she put on top of her. Weird or not camouflage could help. And with the only bow and arrows she could win this maybe. Only if she was cautious.
She closed her eyes only to be awakened a few hours later. No tributes in sight or hearing range. Yet she didn't make a fire. Fire! That could help her win this she realized. Heat was the natural enemy in this arena, make you thirsty and sweaty but this beautiful elements could help her...
Coal
He saw a cliff after an hour of walking. He looked down and picked up a rock. He threw it out and at what he thought a force field could be hiding. He got closer then looked down. A steep way down to a jungle below. He wondered if they could go down to the jungle and of it'd be safer with pure water down there. Instead of climbing he decided to lighten his load slightly, he found some bread in his bag and he pulled off a small chunk and ate it. Not wanting to waste things he closed his bag up. Ready to see if climbing was an option.
(Can the tributes go down the plateau or does the force field prevent it)

"I'm happy and scared to have such an experienced killer at my side," Lawrence muttered. He heard Amethyst's stomach growl. "I didn't eat too much while I was there, I didn't want to depend on the Capitol," Lawrence said. He was used to going days without food because he would often give his food to his other family members to ensure that they got enough. Lawrence carried his knapsack, knives, and spear into the jungle, closely following behind Amethyst.
Jennifer-Anne talked quietly to herself as she walked through the jungle. She wasn't used to being by herself and the sound of a voice comforted her, even if the voice was her own. Jennifer-Anne found a large boulder. Curious, she used all her strength to roll it over. Underneath, Jennifer-Anne found a big cave with ivy growing down the walls and a reflective pond in the center. "Huh? Would you look at that," Jennifer-Anne said as she slid down the steep wall that led into the cave.
Tigris got to her feet, though her tired legs screamed in protest. She started walking in the opposite direction of the cornucopia, trying to put as much distance as she could between her and all the other tributes. Tigris realized she would need to find water. As she walked, she scanned the area for a stream of pond while she strained her ears to listen for the sound of moving water.

"Do you think that you can win? Were you ever in training?" Amethyst asked him, adding the last part as a whisper. Even if people knew that the careers where trained, there was no need to rub it in everyone's faces. The jungle got more humid, and Amy had to wipe sweat from her forehead. Spotting a small clear pool ahead, she bounded up to it. She purified the water into her bottle and Lawrence's, before wading into it. Blood pored from her clothes, turning the pool a deep crimson. "Do I look evil?" she asked, taking a swig of water, and spitting it into the pool to clean her mouth.
