The questions continued to roll off the alpha's muzzle and Lachesis responded to them as they came. "I-I'm f-fine. You j-just frightened me i-is all." He said shyly. He had no idea how he had managed to get the rank of alpha. He always was really shy and spoke with a stutter. While aconite was surely a deadly herb, when a small amount is given it makes a wolf sick, which is useful if they had ingested something bad.
