It was moonhigh, and every cat was sleeping peacefully, except for Spiritpelt. She had had a nasty nightmare, so she was awake, and trying not to toss and turn. She finally stood up and carefully made her way out of the den and into the middle of camp. She found a nice area out of the way where she lay down and stared up at the sky, trying to distract her mind from her nightmare.
She was so busy focusing on the stars she didn't hear the footsteps until too late. She jumped up, wondering who it was and why there where there.
"W-who's there?" She asked, afraid.
"Oh, no one you need to be concerned with. I hear you need help sleeping," the other cat purred helpfully.
"Yeah, I do need help..." Spiritpelt admitted, still thinking this was getting a little... Fishy.
"Why don't I help you sleep? Permanently?" Spiritpelt gasped, but the noise was quickly cut off by sharp claws cutting the life out of the deputy.
"Nighty night, Spiritpelt," The other voice purred before the other cat slinked off in the night.

Watch out, Thunderclan. You have a murderer in your mists, and no person to be a leader. Make wise decisions and trust no one.

Foxblaze was ready to give up on guard duty. Her eyes were bloodshot from no sleep, and she half asleep. She wished her friend was out here with her, but Azurefeather needed her sleep. The orange she cat decided to stretch her legs and went on a walk. Foxblaze's screech was heard all the way to camp. "Spiritpelt!"

Tumblekit was awoken by Foxblaze's screech. She raised her head and glanced at the two queens quickly before deciding to investigate. Tumblekit wasn't one to just sneak out of the den at night, but.. the grey kit got to her paws and slunk from the den, eyes bright and alert as she headed towards where she could see Foxblaze standing over another dark shape. "Foxblaze!" she called quietly, scrambling towards the warrior. "Are you.." she trailed off, stopping dead at the sight of Spiritpelt.

Foxblaze was shaking from head to toe but she got a grip on herself. "T-tumblekit. We have to get back to camp and tell the others... Spiritpelt is d-d-ead...."
