"The" Rares List Guide - Do not ask about new UR's!

Ignore me. I have apparently been doing it wrong with tier counting.

Hi! So this is probably a dumb question (two of them, actually) but I was wondering a coupla things, since I'm pretty new to Rares List trading. First off, exactly what tiers would be considered low/mid/high advents? I've kind of always considered about the 5th, 6th, and 7th tiers (counting upwards from the bottom) to be "mid" advents, anything below them "low" advents, and anything higher "high" advents, but that's kind of just been my thoughts. I've never tried to find a professional answer about this before, since I'm only getting really serious about List trading now (just got my first main list!).
And secondly, which way do most people count on the advent list? Up or down? I've always counted up, i.e. the Marionette would be a 1st tier pet and the Brown Sleipnir would be a 10th tier pet.

I did use the search function on both of these, and couldn't find any definite answers to them, so I apologize if this has been asked and answered before.

7th tier is considered mid advent line [vixen advent tier]
1st tier advent is the bottom tier [scarf dogs] and so on. So counting up.

Anything above mid is high
The two tiers below it are mid-low advents usually
Grey husky line is low
And the bottom tier is called lowest advent

Agreed, however as of now, I've seen it around zebra level. As in, I've seen it go for around zebras.

Please don't post early speculation on these pets, it's still far too close to their release to gauge their values with any kind of accuracy at all. I've seen hollywings go for low main list pets, so it's really up to the two traders what they want to buy/sell for right now.

Hmm.. Not really speculation or gauging their value ^.^ just informing someone what I've seen ^^ and yes it's true it's far too early to guess their value, so we really can't determine yet. Right now it seems to very from person, so we'll really just have to wait and see for a while.

In a way it's a sort of speculation - the reason it's not helpful to post things like this is because it just "sets" the pets' value when there's really no real reason to. For example I know right around the rerelease last year some people started saying that the UR ice cat was only worth a red-x PPS. As you can see that isn't what it's worth but spreading that information really hurt the pet's value for a while. Saying any sort of value at all at this point is kind of out of the question - it hasn't even been out for two weeks yet. And having anything at all posted anywhere - here especially - is more than likely just going to confuse or mislead members unfortunately.

I wouldn't say it's a matter of avoiding talking about URs, we just need to watch what we say about them specifically and keep the talk to more general things or matters that pertain more to what still needs to be accomplished in terms of the list that we're able to work on right now. If it turns out that it takes how long it did for the 2012 URs to be placed, then so be it, only time can tell how long it's going to take for any sort of trading for teach of these 3 URs to stabilize enough that a value can be determined fit.
