((I assumed that the conversation was over, and so that was why I said it, Feather101, assuming you were talking to me. And ~Cloverwing~, we're talking about a game. Google 'Neopets' if you want to find out more about it. If you don't, then, well, don't, I guess. I'm personally more interested in the Tyrannian paint brush he/she got. Lucky.))

Flame stood in an empty field. He was rather bored. That was, in his opinion, the only bad thing about being part of the Scarificed. When there were no humans around, you just stood in the middle of nowhere, doing nothing. Death, his leader, was in Nightmare Forest, so he wasn't ordering him around, another reason Flame was bored. Those were the only two things that would fill his time. Of course, there was always socializing - the word he dreaded - but he never did that anyway. He barely even talked at all, putting Death aside.

As he glanced across the field, he spotted a completely green dog, wearing more green items. They blended in with the surroundings, grass as far as the eye could see. His name was Torunn, Flame believed, and he was Death's brother. A little to hyper for the black dog's taste, but all the same, it was hard to fully hate him. His pranks, when done on certain pets, Flame enjoyed. Not when done on him, though.

As he approached the Zodiac dog, Flame gave a small smile. "Hello, Torunn," he said in his deep voice. His smile was forced, but he hid it fairly well.

(My Neopets account got hacked and I lost my password! I'm trying to get it back, though. I have a Glowing Kougra named Chester that I got from the pound! I love him so much!)

I sniffed. I'm not relying on it for protection. It is a weapon of great power. It has a mind of its own. I simply direct it. The bat's fangs grew longer and sharper. Harder, like metal instead of plush. The bat divebombed Piefan, teeth as long as its wings.

Jaylor

Piefan can probably handle herself with this. Still, something wasn't right with this wolf. She made me feel cold, even through my bear cloak. "We should probably get going," I said right before the bat divebombed at us. My dagger flew out of its sheath and into my jaw. I grasped it and prepared to defend myself. I tried to take a swipe at it, but my blade just glanced off of the plushie like it was wearing armor.

Piefan took back what she said about the plush as its fangs grew. And then became harder. Really, I should have expected that, she thought as it divebombed. Looking over to Jaylor, she saw that he had a dagger. Did everyone here have a weapon? She honestly didn't care, at least they were helpful. But she had to not get distracted thinking about this stuff. As quickly as possible, she flew out of the way. Apart from its fangs, it wasn't big at all, thankfully, just about the same size as most plushes, so it was easy. "Um, yes, maybe we should go."

I heard her thought on our weapons and nearly laughed. Of course the human would think that. I answered her, Really only the ones who have use for them keep weapons in their possession. The plushie continued to follow Piefan, almost keeping the pace, but beginning to fall behind a bit. I will not be beat by some- some- brat of a human!

I looked outside and saw that the snowstorm had lessened. Just enough to travel in, but you'd have to be desperate to try it. Luckily, I have a place nearby. I have supplies and shelter there, and it wasn't terribly far. I grabbed a scarf and shouted as best I could to Piefan, "I know a place we can go! Follow me!" I dashed to the door, hoping she trusted me enough. I wasn't sure what her world was like, but in ChickenSmoothie, there are lots of pets you can trust. You just have to know where to look.
