"We don't want any trouble," a dark brown she-cat meowed as she curled around her kits.

[WinterWanderer]

A tiny rosy-red she-kit ran to the red she-cat. " 'Ello, lil' one." The she-cat meowed.

[Mist]

"Come back here," a dark ginger and white tabby she-cat meowed as two red toms darted forward.

[WinterWanderer]

"But grandma mighta brought us somethin'!" The rosy she-kit mewed.

[Mist]

"Let them have a little fun Ripple," Blue meowed as the dark ginger and white tabby queen sighed. "Don't bother her too much," the queen meowed. "That goes double for you two Maple and Robin," she added with a stern look to the two red toms.

"Ah did bring y'all somethin'." The red she-cat meowed. She stepped out for a second, then came back in with a Goose feather. "Rosette 'ere gets to play with it first." She meowed, placing it down in front of the small rosy she.
"Thanks Grandma!" Rosette mewed, picking up the large feather.

[Mist]

"Of course she would get to play with it first," Robin whispered to Maple who nodded. "Yeah," the other red tom meowed to his brother. "It's because she's the favorite."

Rosette batted at the feather happily.

[Mist]

The dark brown queen purred with amusement as she watched her own kits watch Rosette. "Go and ask if you can play with her," she meowed. A dark gray tom with blue eyes was the first to dart forward followed by a light gray she-cat with darker flecks and brown eyes and then lastly by a white she-cat with blue gray streaks in her fur and ice blue eyes.

The leader of the group watched the kits and blinked as Blue made her way over to him. "You should be proud of your kits Lichen," she meowed. "You know they aren't really mine," the black tom with green eyes meowed. "But they think they are," the large red she-cat meowed. "I know Tiger and Ripple haven't told them any differently."
