Aragorn looked quite shocked. "The last we have heard of a dragon was when the dragon Smaug was King under the mountain. Thorin, was it, lead the journey. He died in the battle of five armies though. Sad to hear." He said glumly, his mind wandering back to Sam and Frodo. He wondered if they were making it okay, or Ben I they would survive to even see Mount Doom.

What kind of person would refrain from killing a dragon? Legolas was not very well-versed in Skyrim lore; as an heir to the Elvenking he was meant to focus simply inside the borders of Middle-earth and not beyond, and therefore the only dragon Legolas could think of was Smaug, the Worm that had taken over Erebor, and to be honest Legolas could hardly care less for past events such as those. Many questions rose to his lips, but he refrained from asking them; no use looking like some wide-eyed elfling in front of these newcomers.
Legolas nodded in response to Vanya's answer, and demanded, "What shall you be doing now that you are in our lands?"

Legolas gestured to the company behind them, the remnants of the Rohirric folk. "We are heading to a stronghold, called Helm's Deep; we are currently in the country of Rohan, though you most likely already know that." The elf hesitated for a brief moment, but his heart won out; they couldn't just leave these Skyrim folk, as they seemed weary. Besides, they had Theodred with them, and the king would certainly be pleased to see his son again.

"Would you like to come with us?" Legolas queried. "These are troubled times in Middle-earth, though we can offer you hospitality for a while, I guess, though that is up to the King Théoden to decide."

"well in skyrim dragons thrive and survive though none are as big as smaug save for Alduin the dragon king also known as Alduin the destroyer he's an inherently evil dragon that uses his own abilities to revive dragons from their buriel grounds and to be honest we have been studying a tablet that corresponds with not only buriel grounds ins skyrim but those in middle earth as well. There is one near Edoras three near helmsdeep and at least five between mirkwood and lothlorien along the great river one of which appears to be in the great river it's self likely the buriel sight for serpent dragon and if what the tablet shows is true then it's likely that Alduin will go for the buriel grounds closest too helmsdeep I do not know who Alduin owes his allegiance too but I have my suspiscions it's is indeed whatever enemy middle earth is facing, We will come with you but keep in mind we do not ask for hospitality as our main mission her is to figure out where alduin will resurrect the first of the dragons here and kill it before it gets out of hand." Vanya said

"gather some kin and have someone get my elk ready I will be going with you" thranduil said and added "It has been while since I last fought in a fight of any kind" he said

Dragons? More dragons, all as terrible as Smaug the Great Worm, were spawnin right here in Middle-earth? Legolas could only stare at Vanya for a few moments, utterly dumbfounded.
"I guess you can come with us, then; the situation sounds dire," he finally managed to say, his fingers unconsciously tightening on his bow.

"Then we shall go with you. We do not have any heavy equipment most of us travel light. " Vanya said she glanced at saelweth her elven friend was staring off towards the west.

Ahkari without a word had already helped saddle nearly all the horses he him self would walk he was capable of it and not to mention the fact that he was indeed used too it.

Saelweth seemed rather deep in thought and not only that she was unlike many of the other elves in middle earth her skin was pale and white almost as white as snow it appeared that her eyes where a rather light blue if not almost grey her hair however was a a rather light blonde almost white like that of an elf from lothlorien. Her silence was perplexing as she niether spoke nor was she spoken too she appeared to look around legolas's age and her armor looked as if it had seen better days aside from that she appeared to have injuries that looked to be from an arrow likely an orcish arrow as the orcs tended to like attacking travelers in middle earth these days. although it was easy too see she was in pain the arrow that struck looked like it might have been poison since she appeared to be staring the exact arrow wrapped in cloth.
