Jakoby threw back his head and laughed coldly. "Sure, Alpha will fix everything. I go where I choose." He knew he should agree politely and scram, coming back later. But this was too tempting. A chase? He wanted to see if this female could catch him. Not many could even stay on his tail.

He snapped at him this time aiming for a mark, only to snag some fur instead. The brute growled and moved past Brie, looking back to her. "You take care of her, I'll take care of this confident flea-bag." he said and then bolted after the loner with a snarl.

Brie looked at blue. "No blue, you don't know a loner's ways. I do." She took a step toward Jakoby. "You want me to chase you. I can see it in your eyes. You may be cocky and full of yourself, but your thoughts are written clearly across your body. And guess what? I could catch you. I have never met a wolf I couldn't catch, and I was able to outrun everyone of them." Brie stood, staring him down.

Jakoby grinned, he could feel his eyes light up. "I've never met a wolf who could catch me. Game on pack wolf." He turned toward the forest, his muscles tensed, waiting to spring away.

[Spotted.Newt]

"Game off. I'm staying with the pup, to keep her safe. If you want to race, first join the pack," she said. Walking back toward Nala, Brie passed Blue. "Ok, you can have a go at him now if you want. But just a warning: loners play by different rules." With that, Brie sat down next to Nala.

A very twisted grin crossed the brute's muzzle. "Oh, I don't play by pack rules sweetheart." he said to Brie before he took off towards Jakoby. "You're dead meat." he said, ready to give chase to this over confident loner.

Jakoby matched his twisted grin before leaping into the forest. "Catch me if you can!" He realized that he could have completely underestimated the brute. And that it might very well be the end of him. If it was, he would give that brute some scars to remember him. But of course, Blue would have to catch him first.

He did have the advantage of starting first so he wasn't that far behind, plus he did know this place like the back of his paws. He let out a dark chuckle. "That all you got mutt?" he sneered as he was right on the loner's tail, enough to probably take a chuck of fur and his jaws snapped at the air.

Jakoby moved his tail away before Blue could take off a chunk of fur. "I rather like my tail thanks!" He gasped as he ran. Why did he have to agree to this? He didn't actually. Still, stopping meant serious injury or death. He sucked air in through his nose, trying to determine which way back to familiar territory. He could hear Blue on the trail behind him. He sucked in some more air, and veered right, practically turning on one paw. He crashed through the bushes, smiling when he noticed the clawed tree. He got a whiff of pine. That meant the quickest way to the border was left! He veered left.

He disappeared into the trees to make it seem like Jakoby had lost him already knowing the brute was going to the border. It wasn't a while before the brute was running full speed and turning around, looking straight at the approaching Jakoby. "Well you might loose more than your tail."
