In the direction Len and Mytho had gone in, voices could be heard. They were coming from behind one of the doors.

Len shivered.

"Excuse me..... We have visitors...." One of the voices said.

"N-no! Leave them be!" The other, belonging to Rin, cried.

Mytho glared at nothing.

The first was not heard again.

"...." Noel poked his head out of one of the rooms. He saw Len and Mytho. ".... M'lady. They're here.... .... You two. Come in here...."

The two walked into the room.

Noel stood in a corner.

The room was completely bare, nothing inside. There were tick marks on the wall, seemingly scratched there. Sitting in the center of the room was Rin, who was chained to the wall and floor. She looked up at them.

"Rinny!" Len shrieked.

Mytho frowned.

[Balsam]

"Quiet!" Noel hissed. "If his Majesty hears you, not only will he send a veritable army after you.... But he'll likely wound m'lady again."
