Phoenix didn't bothering answering. He just lie there. But, eventually, he fell asleep; Restless and uncomfortable, but alseep.

~Simbari~

Meanwhile, Simba had instinctively rolled over closer to Cray in her sleep, only stopping when she felt her fur brush his. She stopped on her back, smiling in her sleep. Her head ended up snuggled up in Cray's fur lightly, one of her paws gently on his. When she awoke, she had no clue how she got into this position, but she didn't bother to move. She enjoyed being this close. She went back to sleep, curled up right beside him.

Cray slept soundly, breathing heavily and even snoring ever so softly off and on. he would occasionally let out a pleasant hum and shift a bit, something he had often been teased of as a pup but had never grown out of

~Simbari~

Simba cuddled close to Cray unconciously, smiling in her sleep. When the sun shone, she woke up, but just lie in the same position with her eyes closed until she was ready to get up.

~Phoenix~

Phoenix was up early. He stretched, his back hurting. He sighed. At least he'd slept.

Kirsten bounced into her brothers luxxurious den, pausing to flick the end of a stick and making it teeter back and forth on topof a dark rock he had apparently liked. she called his name softly, very much aware of the females scent, Simbari wasnt it? hmmm. she let her head fall to one side and cracked her neck quickly, having not slept at all. she only ever slept when her body shut down on her, otherwise she was always running at top speed in everything she did. she called his name again and laid in a small patch of sunlight in the mouth of the den entrance, her green eyes as bright as always.
tate had stopped by sometime in the middle of the night and wrapped her leg with thick human fabric. she wondered where he had found it but he wouldnt tell. it mirrored her leather braced on her other leg. the stunning whiteness of it against her glossy dark blue fur was always a surprise when she caught herlsef looking down

After drifting from Kirstens track, the pure white female slowed her run to a gentl jog, still keeping on the tip of her toes and as silent as ever. She released the lock on her jaw and let her toung slide between her violently sharp dagger like teeth and let deeper breaths fill her lungs with the air that she had exhailed in her sprinting leap. Bringing her ears forwards and in radios of the miles infront of her, she listend and caught the faint sounds of what seemed to her to be voices, vering of towards them Aiierta danced along with a more liht hearted step.

~Simbari~

Simbari began to stirr. She lifted her head from Cray's fur, yawned, then let her head gently fall back again, smiling in the warmth. "Hmm..." she murmured sleepily, yawning shortly into his fur, her eyes opening, then closing again.

Kyrasael had slept for a while through the night, but woke up as early as possible and waited listlessly until he had the chance. Earlier, he had left the base, leaving behind one of his three yellow feathers in his den. He slowly walked through the forest, the stringed feathers hanging loosely from his teeth. He paused to softly stand on his back legs, front paws on the bark of a tree, and tied one of the feathers to the thin leafless branch of the tree. He slowly sulked back down to all fours and walked again. He sighed to himself… perhaps this marked the end of his adventure with the pack. Maybe he’d meet them again one day.

All he knew was that he had spent almost his entire life with unmentionable ghosts. And it occurred to him that… it was time to burry them. One way or another. He couldn’t do that here. No matter how hard he tried to fight it off, he was left with the feeling that… he had to go. Kyrasael had no idea where he was going, but he knew he had to do this. If he didn’t, he feared he might self destruct. And worse that Kirsten would be there to see it.

He did not want her to think he was a monster. So he had to leave. He didn’t stop the plant the last feather, as he tied it to his hock while he moved. He left the other two as a sign of good-bye and a sign of protection. Whenever someone needed him and he was near, he would protect them. But for now, he was to leave this part of the forest.

Kyrasael didn’t limp this time, baring the slight pain as he walked through the trees. Perhaps this was for the best, to leave like this. As he didn’t wish to have a face to face good-bye with any one of the wolves. He would only cause them and himself more pain than necessary.

Cray woke with a slight jolt, he blinked at Simba sleepily and flicked his ears forward at his sisters call, "Oh snap!" he said, he wriggled away from Simbari gently, "im sorry, i have to go patrol this morning." he said, leaning forward to lick a stray lock of fur back into place on her warm neck, his own fur was mused and his eyes almost looked blue so early in the morning, he gave her a still soft with sleep and crinkly eyed smile, "Ill see you after patrol, stay as long as you want though," he said before darting out of the room, Kirsten cuffed him over the head the way only sisters know how and they both padded out into the dewy morning light. Kirsten shivered and cuddled into her brothers side. he noted that she looked hyped up on pure energy and that her fur was sleek yet fluffed, he looked down at his ruffled appearance and shrugged.

~Simbari~

"Bye. Have fun. I'll see you later." Simba replied sweetly, lying with her head lifted up, a small smile on her face. After recovering from her sleepiness, she stood and padded to the nearest river. She slipped into the sunlit water, surprised by the warmth. She basked in the water for a bit, then slipped out, shaking out her wet, glossy fur. It shimmered in the sunlight, all the dirt and dust removed. She smiled, satisfied, and roamed around for a bit.

Cray led Kirsten along the well used game trail that made up quite a bit of their border sincce it made almost a complete circle around their camp. he was still foggy headed and warm from sleep while she was totally electric and bounced on her paws gracefully with each step. Cray had no doubt that she would haave been off doing her daily run around the border if not for her injury. he shook his head as he yawned yet again, he was definitelly not a morning person.
