Evelyn sat underneath a large shady oak tree, her back pressed up against the trunk of the tree. One knee was held against her chest while the other was straightened out in front of her. In one hand she held her IPod with the headphones plugged in, which were settled down over her ears, turned all the way up. Her head bobbed to the beat of the music that was loud enough to drown out all other sounds from the world, and she mouthed the words silently, her foot gently tapping the tempo. She didn't care to get up and go talk to new people at the moment. Mostly because of the part that involved turning off the music and starting the conversation. Both of those facts made her content with just sitting there, and she wasn't going to complain about that.

Tris looked around. She wasn't very good at making buddies. Nor did she care to. Tris saw a girl sitting by a tree. She looked around her brother, aaron was standing around talking. she hadnt seen him in 4 years when his father and him moved out with her mom. Sw lived with her dad from then. Tris looked around and finally just went over to the girl. She sat down. By her. Picking at the grass.
