Mistfur sighs and rolls her eyes once more "He needs to rest, he has a deep wound"

- - I get to my paws and look at the wet moss she brings for me, "I think I'll be fine. If I need a drink I can just stop down by the stream. I let out a quiet yowl as Coyoteheart tackles me. I get back to my paws and twitch my whiskers, amused with my friends childishness. As he flirts with Mistfur I cuff his ear, "Come on Coyoteheart, let's go." I say, finding it awkward that he was flirting with the medicine cat. I pad towards the entrance, and turn back to Mistfur, "thanks again Mistfur. if it feels any worse I'll be back." I say with a warm smile and them pad out of the den, glancing behind me to make sure Coyoteheart was following.

Coyoteheart laughs and follows his best friend smiling. "I was wondering if you would like to flirt with she-cats with me?" he asks.

Mistfur felt warm and fuzzy inside when he was around but sadly she knew it would never be and could never be. She felt sad often now that it haunted her, he was always so kind and caring."Darn rules" she murmured to herself.

- - I growl, a little less playfully, "You know I'm not. I wouldn't go against the warrior code." I say stubbornly. Yes, I was looking for a mate, but never Mistfur. She was the medicine cat. I didn't even know her well, so why would I even bother. I look back at Coyoteheart, "I wasn't the one flirting with her."
