Morningsound took a deep breath and stood up on her paws, but she was careful to make it clear that she was not looking for a fight. "My name is Morningsound, and I come from beyond your forest ground." She said, still staring deeply into Whitestar's eyes. "If you cats would be kind enough to take me in, I will devote my life to hunting and fighting for your group. I ask for your forgiveness, as I broke into your territory and alarmed you all. Once again, I devote my life. If it suits you better, I can move along and leave your camp, but please, consider my offer.." Her voice wavered and she was weak and vulnerable from the journey and from lack of food and sleep. She stared into the leader's eyes, and a pang of recognition stabbed her. As soon as she smelled that scent, she kind of knew already, but this confirmed it. This was Jet.
A dark, prickly feeling swept over her. She started to doubt her chances of being accepted into the clan, But she knew something had changed inside of the leader she once knew.

Ebonypaw nodded and smiled. "Okay!" he said turning around about to go back out of the camp. He trotted up to the exit and looked back at her. "Last one to the Great oak is a flea bag!" he said dashing off towards the largest tree in Dawnclan territory. One of the greatest and most ancient warriors of Dawnclan fell out of the top of this tree and lived but only to never see again."

Whitestar nodded then looked down at his paws. "Your name suits us. It shall stay. We welcome you but do not expect understanding. We expect you to work just as hard as us and learn the warrior code. You will learn it from one cat to the other but first things first I must talk to you. To show you to borders." he said stalking towards the camp entrance. Really he wanted to see if she knew. He wanted no word getting out of who he was. "Stormcloud guard the camp."

Featherpaw laughed and raced out of camp, close behind Ebonypaw. She felt the wind blow through her fur and heard the leaves and trees rustle as she swerved through the towering pines and oaks. She loved this feeling. The feeling of running without a care in her mind, a worry on her shoulders. She spotted the Greak Oak and sprinted as fast as her paws would take her, "I'm gonna beat you! "

ˢᵗᵒʳᵐᶜˡᵒᵘᵈ Stormcloud nodded dutifully, sitting by the camp entrance while Morningsound and Whitestar left. He wondered why Whitestar was showing her the borders personally. Any warrior could do that. Maybe the leader wanted to talk privately without making a scene.

Larkstar finished hunting after catching a couple more pieces of prey. She padded slowly back to camp, her tail swishing back and forth and her ears folded back. She was thinking about the murder, wondering who could have killed Warmheart. She couldn't help listing all of the bad cats, of which there weren't many. Still, were any of her Clan really evil?

ᵛᵒˡᵉᵖᵃʷ Volepaw walked out of the elder's den with a shudder. The apprentices had to do all the nasty jobs, and he wouldn't mind so much if the other apprentices at least helped him out. He cleaned his pelt thoroughly before going to the nursery to see if the queens needed anything.

ᶤᵛʸᵖᵃʷIvypaw dug her claws furiously into the ground after a rabbit escaped them. She hissed quietly, trying to find any other prey. She'd caught a mouse, but it was small. At least it would feed Wolfkit, the only kit in the nursery. Ivypaw sank to the ground, her shoulders slumped. Misery made her sigh. Ebonypaw seemed okay, but he hadn't spoken to her since before the vigil started the morning before. Warmheart was gone, she was like Ivypaw's kin. She'd helped take care of Ivy"kit" when her real mother hadn't. Now Ebonypaw had changed inside.

Ebonypaw glared playfully. "No your not!" he panted. "You may be fast but I can fight!" when she was about to zip past him he jumped grabbing her scruff with his paws and they went skidding tumbling down forward. Skidding down a little hill past the Great Oak and landed in water. "Ah! Water!" he said standing up. it was shallow and barely moving but he hated water. For once Ebonypaw was ignoring it. He jumped at her again and pinned her down the water only up to her cheek. "Got ya!"

Mistbreeze watched the leader and the loner a moment before they left then padded over to her Stormcloud "Guard duty?" She asked as she sat down next to him. "I'm joining you." She stated, she didn't give him time to protest "That...loner." She started "Whats going on?" She asked in a low voice. She knew him being deputy there where things he could and couldn't tell her, but maybe he could at lest give us a clue.

ˢᵗᵒʳᵐᶜˡᵒᵘᵈ Stormcloud made sure no cat was listening before saying to his sister, "She showed up on the border, collapsed. She's starving and weak, no threat at all. Whitestar said she could stay for a little while, join the Clan if she works hard. He's showing her the borders." He looked at his sister quickly. "She's pretty, isn't she?" He was sure he would get teased for saying that, but he knew Mistbreeze wouldn't tell anyone what he thought. While she replied he listened for intruders and scented for anything odd. Nothing so far.

Mistbreeze nodded her head "Starved? wow I'm shocked she could make it this far, she must be stronger then she looked." She said in a dull tone. A giggled escaped her when Stormcloud made his comment on how pretty she was. "Aww Stromclouds fallen in love." She teased him, giving him a nudge "Stromcloud and Morningsong sitting in a tree K-I-S-S-I-N-G." She giggled once more not continuing to tease him farther. She sat up a bit taller and smiled to him "Yes, she is a very pretty she-cat."

ˢᵗᵒʳᵐᶜˡᵒᵘᵈ Stormcloud rolled his eyes. "Ha ha, so glad you approve. Anyway, how's hunting?" All the warriors ever did during leaf-bare was hunt. Stormcloud's ears perked up a little at the hint of a sound, but it turned out to be some warriors returning with prey. Yep, more hunting.

Featherpaw faked a screech of terror as she toppled into the water, "No fair ! I should have won! " she protested , a smile creeping onto her face. She waited a moment before pushing him off . Featherpaw splashed him playfully , her eyes challenging him.
