Bullet stood at the edge of a river, his ears swiveling from side to side. He sniffed the air, focusing on catching a mare's heat scent. The black stallion shifted his head, catching the brief scent of one and beginning to canter towards the source. His lip quivered, his odd reaction to heat scents. Bullet shook his mane, continuing to trot towards the scent.
What he came across was a beautiful appaloosa mare. She appeared to be searching for something. Bullet tilted his head before approaching her semi-cautiously. Hello, beautiful. Are you looking for something? he asked. He really in truly admired her coat, with black spots flecked here and there.
