Dreamcrystal followed her leader. "I'm a bit hungry myself." She meowed. She scented the air for prey and noticed rabbit. She pointed with her tail to the scent trail

"Sure!" She mewed then continued with the patrol. "You guys may hunt" she said

"Thank you Sleetstar," she mewed, dipping her head. Turning, she caught the scent of rabbit, and ran off in the direction of it.

Sleetstar went towards to the river to fish. She waited for fish to appear in this thawed spot of ice. She caught a fish in her claws and smiled. "Ah ha!" She grinned as she picked up the fish in her jaws.

Crystalfrost soon returned to the others, a hare in her mouth. She put in down in front of her and smiled. "The prey's running well today, I'm glad," she mewed and sat down with it.

Dreamcrystal went to the stream for a drink of water and to catch a fish. She peered into the water and saw s flash of shiny scales. She flung the rainbow trout out of the water and killed it. She padded over to Sleetstar and settled down with her fish. "Sure is!"

"Yes it is,how are your apprentices?" She mewed around the fish in her jaws.

"Wishpaw is doing well." She mewed between mouthfuls.

"Icepaw has been doing very well," she mewed, taking a bite of her rabbit. "I expect him to become a strong Clan warrior someday."

"Has he been given his final assessment? If he has I want you to take him to the moontree" she mewed with a special gleam in her eyes.
