Echokit finally stood up and mewled with satisfaction. Then she tried to step and fell flat on her face, making her cry.

Hailkit finished his milk, and then sat back down beside his mother lazily. Hearing the squeal, he stumbled up awkwardly, but fell back onto his belly.

Dawnstorm-
"That's very nice of you, I haven't eaten since I kitted," Dawnstorm mewed thankfully, and took a bite of the prey. "It's delicious," she purred with delight.

Echokit got up, but then smelled something unfamiliar and cried again. It wasn't cat, so what was it?

Dawnstorm swallowed her prey, and looked up, startled. "There's a fox in the nursery!" she yowled, and pulled her kits towards her.

"It's okay, I will not hurt you. I am Blaze, a Fox, even as a predator I wish to help you." Blaze smiled again.

"It speaks cat!" she yowled, hysterically. "Get away from my kits!" she hissed.
