Hey there! I want to be an adopter and my form is on page 461 [4th-ish post down from the top], and I said I would want to be in the RP category but I don't want to and I've edited my post explaining why.

Adopter FAQ:
I changed my username, will you change it on the list?
No. Username changes do not effect anything and users change their usernames too often for us to be running around correcting it all the time.

I finished helping my newbie, can I go on the list again?
Yes, fill out the form again and post it. You may use the same RP example if you applied and were accepted for it the first time.

I never got to help my newbie.
I did help my newbie, but only a little bit.
If you never helped you newbie, not even one question, quote your old form and let us know and you will be put onto the top of the list. If you helped your newbie, even just a little bit, you will have to apply again and be put at the bottom of the list.

Why am I not on the list?
Why was my form denied?
If we have a reasonable reason to believe you are not fit to get a newbie, no matter how many categories you fit in, we can turn down your application. You also my not be on the list because we have not updated yet.

What if I want to be in more categories later on?
The categories you apply for a final. If you want to be in more categories you will have to wait to apply again after getting a newbie. We won't keep adding you to new categories.

I think I should be able to adopt a newbie because I love to help people out. When I first joined CS I was adopted on here, and I was shown everything I know now, so I would like to give something back.

Why should you be able to adopt a newbie?: I’ve been on the site for exactly 4 years now c: so I’m very familiar with it. I want to be able to help those who might get lost or overwhelmed being on a new site, by helping direct them and making sure that their CS experience lives up to its fullest potential. I’m very patient and have actually helped out a newbie through this program previously before so I’m prepared for what they might require of me.

    Any questions?:  I guess my primary concern is I am not the most tech savvy individual.  I noticed my daughter is very adept at the format and coding and I suppose I can learn that from her, but what are the general parameters for properly executed posts?  In other words is there a standard or is it individualized by the creator of the topic or role play?

There is no rules or guidelines to how you set out your post format for anything, really. It's purely your choice.

If you go to an Oekaki board, there should be a button near the top (underneath the Oekaki Rules & Information) with NEWDRAWING on it.
