Blackpaw yawned and headed into the apprentices den. He curled up in his nest but his sister wasn't beside him, she was over where Ashpaw usually sleeps. He sniffed the nest beside his.

"Blackpaw, Ashpaw and I decided to switch for the night. Don't worry about it. " Nightpaw told him from across the den. Her brother nodded and mumbled an okay before curling up.

Whiteshadow retreated to the warriors den with Aquagaze. The black and white tom looked in the direction of Mountainstar before he disappeared for the night.

Redwhisker was still up, sitting in the clearing watching over the clan. His black ears pricked as his blue gaze scanned the area.

Ocenapaw woke up with an ache in her back and being awfully cold. Hazelfur was right, there were downsides to leafbare. She padded just outside the apprentice den and looked around the clearing with a shiver.

Blackpaw was used to snuggling up against Nightpaw for warmth. Since he was asleep he ended up curling up against Ashpaw. She was warm and her pelt felt nice and soft.

Nightpaw woke up early from the cold morning. She sat up and looked over, They look adorable but I'm so cold! She thought with a shiver.
