Jace Lee: District 1
Jace shook his head and raised the dagger quickly, ready to throw it. "Stop!" He yelled at her, his mind hurting from trying to remember but not being able to. "I don't know you. Don't lie to me. My district tribute partner died the first night. You don't know me. Leave me be." He spoke firmly, the dagger still aimed to her. She couldn't have been telling the truth. She had tried to kill him, tracked him in the forest to do so. She thought his father was still alive. She wasn't allied with any careers. All of it just didn't make sense to him. His head throbbed from the cuts, tumbling down the hill, as well as trying to remember things he didn't believe to be true. "You know nothing about me. Don't come near me."

Ruby took another step closer to him, his dagger merely inches away from her flesh. She raised an eyebrow, crossing her arms over her chest. How could he forget? She had to make him remember. She had to make him not forget... A sheen glazed over her eyes. Was it tears or just the light, nobody would ever know except for Ruby. "You don't have the heart," she snapped at him, her voice cracking towards the end. The Capitol had to have something to do with this. Something to do to use against her, or to be able to control Jace. Whatever it was, Ruby still hadn't quite laid a finger on it.

Mason pulled an arrow beck on his bow, watching Jace, "Put the dagger down." He said, voice tense and strained. He wasn't scared, but he really wasn't a good shot at the moment. He could accidentally hit Ruby. Blood was still dripping down his arm and you could see the strain it took to hold the arrow back.

Jace Lee: District 1
Jace stepped towards Ruby quickly and turned her around, placing his dagger against her throat. He hadn't cut her yet, but he had no reason not to kill her in his mind. "Try me." He snapped, keeping Ruby's head still against his chest as he glared at Mason carefully. At this point now, he was no longer interested in talking. Once a weapon is pulled on him, reasoning is out of the picture. He locked his jaw tightly, pain flowing through him already as he held Ruby still.

THE FEEELSSS.
oh, and have Mason shoot Ruby's arm or leg or something.

Ruby remained quiet. She had given up for good on Jace - he was too far gone. Taking in a deep breath, she tried to relax against his body as he held her up. There was no way she could try anything on him now. He literally held her life in his hands now, and it wasn't like she hadn't asked for it. She looked towards Mason, silently pleading him to release the bow string. To let go of the tension. She knew he could easily kill her as well, but it was a gamble she was willing to take.

Jace Lee: District 1
Jace slowly moved his head down a little to where it was even level with Ruby's ear. "If you really are my district tribute, tell me something that I've done on this trip that no one else knows about." He whispered softly into her ear, deciding he wouldn't harm her unless Mason shot at him. Silence lingered in the air as he waited for Ruby's answer and maintained his watch on Mason with his bow.

WAIT WAIT WAIT DON'T SHOOT!!!
{ Ruby }

Ruby's blood stopped cold in her veins as Jace's breath stuck to her neck, leaving the ghost of its warmth long after it left. It was a simple question. A question that could save her life. She thought and thought and thought, and eventually came up with an answer. "You'd think you would remember me if I was your dead district partner," she remarked in a hushed tone, letting one piece of her mind slip. "When you get mad at me, you throw daggers until you hand bleeds," she went on. "The night of the parade, you disappeared and wouldn't tell me why. You like to yell at our mentor, Blaze, over the stupidest things." Ruby smirked, wondering if she'd said enough already. "Need me to say more?"

Jace Lee: District 1
Jace listened silently, letting the knife slightly looser away from her neck, trying to remember. "Keep talking.." He spoke softly, still unable to remember any of the memories. However, he recognized the scars on his hands that had been there since the start of the games. The truth was, he didn't remember anything about his district partner, the other tributes, the starting of the games, nor the train coming over. Of course, he knew what he must have gone through, but nothing else. The familiar scars gave him slight hope that she wasn't lying. He felt as if he had gone insane, not remembering anything but growing up without his father.
