It's a hazelnut, released on the 21st along with the nutcracker dog and (toy soldier?) dog.

Lol. That made me laugh.

With eyes, it's one of the other hazelnuts released on the 21st day of the advent.

This dog has 4 piercings on its tail ^^
I see five piercings (x I count the big one. That's nice though.
There are also three piercings on it's nose, one on it's lip, one above it's eye and I think there are some on it's fin.
I thought that the peircing on its lip was a fang. /shot

Actually moonshine isn't just slang. It's like sunlight vs sunshine, so both terms are correct.
Do cat/dog blankets always influence the pets as they grow? I remember when I joined on my old account I noticed that the celestial litter changed to become like their blankets, but, for example, the Cookie Advent had a red-and-white blanket which was not displayed on the adult. Are pets affected by their blankets nowadays?

Not always. Sometimes, a whole litter has the same blanket and they can be affected by the design, but they won't all look the same. Other times, like you mentioned, the blanket won't really affect the outcome. It just depends on the artist(s) who make them and how they want them to turn out.
(As far as I know. There may be some secret code they go by or something...)
